Description
Bei der Herstellung von prismatischen Glocken ist es außerordentlich wichtig, die Prismen auf der Oberfläche der Gläser so genau wie eben möglich herzustellen. Zu dem Zweck ist es nötig, die Eisenformen, in welchen die Gläser gepreßt werden, schon mit einer'derartigen Genauigkeit anzufertigen, daß die Gläser1 selber möglichst genau der aus optischen Gründen! zn fordernden Form entsprechen. Soweit nun, wie es meistens der Fall ist, die Prismen als konzentrische Ringe in den Gläsern auftreten, muß die zur Herstellung der Gläser benötigte: Glasform auf der Drehbank hergestellt werden. Der Dreher ist also genötigt, nach einer Schablone zu arbeiten, welche er sich entweder selber nach der Zeichnung herstellt, oder welche ihm von seinem Auftraggeber zur Verfügung gestellt wird.When making prismatic bells, it is extremely important to make the prisms on the surface of the glasses as accurately as possible. Auf diese Weise erhält man mehrere Abzüge, wie sie beispielsweise in Abb. 1 dargestellt sind.
