Description
Method for soldering crampon pins into artificial teeth. Crampon pins for artificial teeth were usually made of fine metal to counter them to make chemical influences insensitive. Crampon pens are already available made of base metal with a noble metal coating in order to save expensive material to save. Such crampon pins are made in small holes or bores in the artificial Teeth soldered in.
The invention now specifies a method to crampon pins from base Coating metal with precious metal in one operation and soldering it in at the same time. It consists in the fact that pins made of base metal with a solder mass in the artificial teeth are melted down, which is the noble metal desired to coat the pen contains, and that the amount of solder is chosen so that part of the solder during of the work process increases in height due to capillary action on the crampon pin and covers it with a protective layer. It was found that climbing up of the solder on the base crampon pins in the air-diluted space, i.e. in the so-called Vacuum, going on much easier. The new process will thereby saves work that the crampon pins are not provided with a precious metal coating must be used before they can be soldered into the teeth, but that this coating with precious metal takes place at the same time as soldering. at Using vacuum in the new process will also simultaneously reduce the tooth mass spared, so that there is no change in their color, as occurs with anxiety the air can occur.
