Dieser Nachteil wird durch die Erfindung dadurch vermieden, daß an der Eindringungsstelle des Streichholzes in die Masse des Anzünders rings um das Streichholz eine Aussparung vorgesehen ist. Dadurch wird erreicht, daß die Flamme des entzündeten Streichholzes beim Niederbrennen desselben ringsum eine gn)Be Fläche vorfindet, auf die sie wärmend einwirken kann, so daß das Paraffin usw. zum Schmelzen kommt und sich leicht, insbesondere am Rande der Vertiefung, entzündet.
