Description
The present invention relates to cable connectors consisting of two sleeve or There are sleeve-like parts, which are tapered and recessed by a union nut be held together. Such connectors now have the disadvantage that they are not waterproof in that through the thread of the union nut and then through the joint between the two ίο water can gradually penetrate into the interior of the connector, which is particularly true for ' Clamps for aluminum copper is disadvantageous. Such metals form galvanic elements, as soon as moisture comes into contact with them, and the electrical current generated by it conducts then to the destruction of the parts concerned. This drawback is now the invention according to the fact that the two parts of the connector by conical Ausbiiao interlocking. As a result, the contact surfaces of the two parts are all around close together and are also still tightened against each other by the union nut, so that the ingress of water is prevented with certainty.
The subject matter of the present invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment explained in more detail.

Fig. 3 and 4 show the two parts from the inside after the connector has been dismantled.

In diesen Aussparun-The cable connector of the present invention consists of the two parts α and b, which each serve to receive one of the ends c of the cable. For this purpose, they are provided with a conical recess which tapers outwards. In these recesses
The cable ends c are provided with an upset head which lies in a recess / the clamping sleeve d.
The union of the two parts α and b is now made by a union nut g , which with its end wall h engages behind a collar i of part b and is screwed onto a thread k of part α , so that both parts α and b are pulled against each other. Part b is also provided with a conical extension / and the other part α with a correspondingly conical recess in which the conical extension I comes to rest when the two parts «and b are connected, so that there is a current transfer from surface to surface.
By simply unscrewing the union nut g, the parts α and b are easily released.
The external shape of the connector and the type of union nut are arbitrary.
