Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neuartige Vinylether mit einem Carbonsäuresalz, die Vinylether enthaltende Zusammensetzungen sowie daraus hergestellte fluorenthaltende Copolymere, welche für Materialien von Fluorharz-Lacken verwendbar sind.
- Fluorharze, die eine Carboxylgruppe besitzen, können durch Copolymerisierung von Vinylethern, die eine Carboxylgruppe enthalten, und Fluorolefinen erhalten werden. Die Synthese von Vinylethern mit einer Carboxylgruppe ist jedoch sehr schwierig. Beispielsweise scheitert der Versuch, Vinylether mit einer Carboxylgruppe durch Reaktion von Hydroxyalkylvinylethern mit zweibasischen Säureanhydriden (Halb-Veresterung) herzustellen, da die Carboxylgruppe des Produktes mit der Vinylgruppe desselben Produktes sofort unter Ringschlußbildung reagiert.
- Fluorenthaltende Copolymere mit Carboxylgruppen können daher z.B. durch Copolymerisierung von Fluorolefinen und eine Hydroxylgruppe enthaltenden Vinylethern und anschließende Reaktion der Hydroxylgruppen im Copolymer mit zweibasischen Säureanhydriden (Halb-Veresterung)hergestellt werden (Japan. Tokkyo Kokoku No. 49323/1986). Da die Halb-Veresterung nach der Copolymerisation durchgeführt werden muß, hat das Verfahren den Nachteil, daß preiswerte Alkohole, die mit den zweibasischen Säureanhydriden reagieren, nicht als Lösungsmittel bei der Copolymerisation verwendet werden können.
- Als Ergebnis des intensiven Studiums der Herstellung von Vinylethern mit einer Carboxylgruppe durch die Erfinder wurde herausgefunden, daß die intramolekulare Ringschlußreaktion nicht stattfindet, wenn Hydroxyalkylvinylether mit zweibasischen Säureanhydriden in Gegenwart von basischen Verbindungen umgesetzt werden, und daß die Stabilität der resultierenden Vinylether verbessert werden kann durch Carboxylsalzbildung mit den basischen Verbindungen und auch die Ausbeute der Copolymerisationsreaktion mit Fluorolefinen außergewöhnlich gesteigert werden kann, und folglich wurde die vorliegende Erfindung fertiggestellt.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Vinylether (I), die eine Carboxylgruppe enthalten, in Form des Salzes, dargestellt durch die Formel (I):
- CH&sub2;=CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)O(H)nM (I)
- worin R¹ ein divalenter aliphatischer Rest mit 2 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, R² ein divalenter organischer Rest und M ein Alkalimetall oder eine monofunktionale basische Verbindung mit einem Stickstoffatom oder einem Phosphoratom und einem pKa-Wert von 6 bis 12 ist, mit n gleich O, wenn M das Alkalimetall ist und n gleich 1, wenn M anders ist.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft auch Monomer-Zusammensetzungen, welche die Vinylether (I) und Vinylether mit einer freien Carboxylgruppe umfassen, dargestellt durch die Formel (II):
- CH&sub2;-CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)OH (II)
- worin R¹ und R² wie oben definiert sind und welche die Vinylether (I) in einer Menge von nicht weniger als 1 Mol-% der Vinylether (II) enthalten.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft weiterhin fluorenthaltende Copolymere, welche hergestellt werden durch Copolymerisierung von Fluorolefinen und den Vinylethern (I) oder den Monomer-Zusammensetzungen.
- Der Grund, warum die Vinylether (I) keinen Ring bilden,wird aus folgendem geschlußfolgert:
- Die Vinylether (II) mit einer freien Carboxylgruppe haben eine kationische Reaktivität und bilden einen Ring, verursacht durch die Wirkung von H&spplus;, das von der Carboxylgruppe stammt, entsprechend folgendem Reaktionsschema:
- Die Vinylether (I) mit einer Carboxylgruppe in Form des Salzes sind jedoch stabil in folgendem Zustand:
- worin R¹, R², M und n wie oben definiert sind.
- Die Ursache, warum die Mischung aus den Vinylethern (I) und (II) stabil ist, wenn die Vinylether (I) in einer Menge von nicht weniger als 1 Mol-% der Vinylether (II) vorhanden sind, wird daraus geschlußfolgert, daß die Konzentration von H&spplus; in der Mischung durch den Puffer-Effekt der Vinylether (I) reduziert wird.
- Die Vinylether (I) der vorliegenden Erfindung können hergestellt werden durch Reaktion von
- Hydroxyalkylvinylethern, dargestellt durch die Formel
- CH&sub2;=CHOR¹ OH
- worin R¹ wie oben definiert ist,
- zweibasischen Säureanhydriden, dargestellt durch die Formel
- worin R²wie oben definiert ist und
- Alkalimetallverbindungen oder monofunktionalen basischen Verbindungen, welche ein Stickstoffatom oder ein Phosphoratom enthalten und einen pKa-Wert (Säuredissoziationskonstante in Wasser bei 25ºC) von 6 bis 12 haben (im folgenden bezeichnet als "Base 3", wenn die beiden Verbindungen nicht unterschieden werden).
- Beispiele für Hydroxyalkylvinylether sind z.B. 4-Hydroxybutyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxyethyl-vinylether, 3-Hydroxy-n-propyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxy-isopropyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxy-2-methylethyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxy-1,1- dimethylethyl-vinylether, 4-Hydroxycyclohexyl-vinylether, 3-Hydroxycyclohexyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxycyclohexyl- vinylether, 4-Hydroxybenzoxyvinyl und ähnliche.
- Beispiele für den Substituenten R², welcher in den zweibasischen Säureanhydriden und in den Vinylethern (I) oder (II) enthalten ist, sind
- Reste gemäß der Formel (i):
- worin X¹ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, X² ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen ist und p und q O oder ganze Zahlen von 1 bis 11 sind,vorausgesetzt,daß sie nicht gleichzeitig 0 sind;

- worin R&sup8; ist (CHX&sup5; , in welcher X&sup5; ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und u eine ganze Zahl von 3 bis 4 ist, oder (CX&sup6;=CX&sup7; , in welcher X&sup6; und X&sup7; gleich oder verschieden sind und jedes ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen ist und v eine ganze Zahl von 2 bis 3 ist;

- Beispiele für die zweibasischen Säureanhydride sind z.B. Maleinsäureanhydrid, Bernsteinsäureanhydrid, Methylbernsteinsäureanhydrid, Phthalsäureanhydrid, Adipinsäureanhydrid, Glutarsäureanhydrid, Glutaconsäureanhydrid, Itaconsäureanhydrid, 1,8-Naphthalsäureanhydrid, Zitraconsäureanhydrid, 1,2-Cyclohexandicarbonsäureanhydrid, 4-Methyl-1,2- hexandicarbonsäureanhydrid, cis-4-cyclohexen-1,2-dicarbonsäure- anhydrid, 1-Cyclohexen-1,2-dicarbonsäureanhydrid, ein Additionsprodukt, hergestellt nach Diels-Alder- Reaktion von Cyclopentadien und Maleinsäureanhydrid und ähnliche.
- Im allgemeinen verläuft die Reaktion von Hydroxylverbindungen mit zweibasischen Säureanhydriden in Gegenwart von basischen Katalysatoren nach dem folgenden Schema: basischer Katalysator
- Um in dieser Reaktion das gewunschte Produkt in einer Ausbeute von mehr als 90 % zu erhalten, ist eine ausreichende Menge des zu verwendenden basischen Katalysators höchstens 0,5 Mol% der zweibasischen Säureanhydride. Wenn jedoch entsprechend der vorliegenden Forschung der Erfinder Hydroxyvinylether mit einer hohen kationischen Reaktivität als Hydroxylverbindungen verwendet werden, können die gewünschten Reaktionsprodukte nicht in der Abwesenheit der basischen Verbindung erhalten werden, wie im weiteren beschrieben. Weiterhin, wenn die Menge der basischen Verbindung ungefähr 0,5 Mol-% ist, wird nicht nur die Ausbeute des gewünschten Produktes geringer, sondern ist auch die Stabilität des Produktes schlecht. Entsprechend sind die resultierenden Produkte als Monomere für die Polymerisation nicht geeignet.
- Wenn jedoch die Basen in einer Menge von nicht weniger als 1 Mol-% der zweibasischen Säureanhydride verwendet werden, wird die Ausbeute größer als 90 % und, da die resultierenden Reaktionsmischungen stabil sind, kann auch die Verringerung der effektiven Ausbeute verhindert werden. Als Ursache wird angenommen, daß die Basen eine Reaktion zwischen der Carboxylgruppe und der Vinylgruppe verhindern und auch die erhaltenen Vinylether (II) an der Bildung eines intramolekularen Ringes hindern. Die Basen können mit der Carboxylgruppe stöchiometrisch umgestzt werden. Die Basen sind im Reaktionssystem mit einer Menge von nicht weniger als 1 Mol-% der Säureanhydride vorhanden, und in solch einem Fall ist das resultierende Reaktionsprodukt ein Gemisch aus den Vinylethern (I) und (II).
- Die Vinylether (I) der vorliegenden Erfindung können hergestellt werden durch Zugabe der Basen zu dem Gemisch von Vinylethern (I) und (II) und durch Umsetzung der Basen mit den Vinylethern (II). Die Basen , die nach der Halb-Veresterung zugegeben werden, sind gleich oder verschieden gegenüber den Basen , die in der Halb-Veresterung verwendet werden. In diesem Fall können die Basen mit der Carboxylgruppe der Vinylether (II) stöchiometrisch umgesetzt werden.
- Als die Basen werden Alkalimetallverbindungen und die oben erwähnten besonderen monofunktionalen basischen Verbindungen verwendet.
- Bevorzugte Alkalimetallverbindungen sind Verbindungen mit Li, K oder Na, und Beispiele dafür sind z.B. Lithiumhydroxid, Natriumhydroxid, Kaliumhydroxid, Lithiumcarbonat, Natriumcarbonat, Kaliumcarbonat, Natriummethylat, Natriumethylat, Kaliummethylat und ähnliche.
- Die besonderen monofunktionalen basischen Verbindungen sind monofunktionale basische Verbindungen, die ein Stickstoffatom oder ein Phosphoratom enthalten und einen pKa-Wert von 6 bis 12, vorzugsweise von 8 bis 11, besitzen. Die basischen Verbindungen mit einem pKa-Wert in dem Bereich haben die Fähigkeit, Salze zu bilden, und haben eine hohe stabilisierende Eigenschaft, die Vinylether (II) zu stabilisieren. Die basischen Verbindung gen mit einem pKa-Wert höher als dem der Carbonsäuren von den zweibasischen Säureanhydriden haben nämlich eine starke Salzbildungsfähigkeit. Bevorzugte basische Verbindungen haben einen pKa-Wert höher als der der umgesetzten Carbonsäuren von 3 bis 8. Geeignete Beispiele für die besonderen monofunktionalen basischen Verbindungen sind Ammoniak, Amine, Phosphine und ähnliche. Besonders tertiäre Amine sind bevorzugt..
- Beispiele für Amine sind Methylamin, Ethylamin, n-Propylamin, Isopropylamin, n-Butylamin, Isobutylamin, sec-Butylamin, 1,2-dimethylpropylamin, 2-Ethylhexylamin, Tridecylamin, Dimethylamin, Diethylamin, Di-n-propylamin, Diisopropylamin, Dibutylamin, Diisobutylamin, Di-sec- butylamin, Di-2-ethylhexylamin, Trimethylamin, Triethylamin, Tri-n-propylamin, Tri-n-butylamin, N-methylbutylamin, N-ethylbutylamin, N,N-dimethylethylamin, N,N-dimethylisopropylamin, N,N-dimethyltetradecylamin, N,N-dimethyloctadecylamin, 2-Methoxyethylamin, 3-Ethoxyethylamin, Cyclohexylamin, N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamin, Dicyclohexylamin, Benzylamin, N,N-dimethylbenzylamin, 4- Methoxyphenylethylamin, Ethanolamin, Diethanolamin, Triethanolamin, Isopropanolamin, Pyrrolidin, Piperidin, 1- Methylpiperidin, 4-Methylpiperidin, Morpholin und ähnliche

- Die Reaktionstemperatur ist im allgemeinen -80ºC bis 100ºC, vorzugsweise 0ºC bis 50ºC. Reaktions- Lösungsmittel können im allgemeinen verwendet werden, müssen aber nicht. Es können Lösungsmittel verwendet werden außer Alkohole, welche gegenüber den zweibasischen Säureanhydriden reaktiv sind. Bevorzugte Lösungsmittel sind Ketone wie Aceton, Methylethylketon und Methylisobutylketon, da sie eine Verringerung der Reaktivität der Startmaterialien und eine Verfärbung der Reaktionsprodukte nicht hervorrufen. Die Basen können im allgemeinen verwendet werden in einem Molverhältnis von 0,01 bis 1.2 zu den zweibasischen Säureanhydriden, vorzugsweise von 0,05 bis 1,0.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung kann liefern stabile Monomer-Zusammensetzungen, die die Vinylether (I) und die Vinylether (II) umfassen. Wie oben erwähnt, haben die Vinylether (II) Probleme hinsichtlich der Stabilität, vor allem der Lagerstabilität, wenn sie als ein Monomer verwendet werden, da die Vinylether (II) sehr instabil sind und sofort einen intramolekularen Ring bilden. Entsprechend der vorliegenden Erfindung kann die Lagerstabilität der Vinylether (II) entscheidend verbessert werden in Gegenwart der Vinylether (I) in einer Menge von nicht weniger als 1 Mol-% der Vinylether (II), vorzugsweise nicht weniger als 5 Mol-%.
- Die Monomer-Zusammensetzungen können wie die Reaktionsprodukte entsprechend der Synthese der Vinylether (I) oder durch Zugabe der Basen 3 zu den Reaktionsprodukten erhalten werden.
- Weiterhin betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung fluorenthaltende Copolymere, welche durch Copolymerisierung von Fluorolefinen mit den Vinylethern (I) oder den Monomer-Zusammensetzungen aus den Vinylethern (I) und (II) erhalten werden.
- Beispiele für Fluorolefine sind Tetrafluorethylen, Clortrifluorethylen, Hexafluorpropylen, Trifluorethylen, Vinylidenfluorid, Vinylfluorid und ähnliche.
- In der vorliegenden Erfindung ist das molare Reaktionsverhältnis der Vinylether (I) oder (I) und (I)/Fluorolefine im allgemeinen 0,1 bis 80 / 20 bis 99,9.
- Die fluorenthaltenden Copolymere enthalten vorzugsweise, wenn sie als wäßrige Lacke verwendet werden,die Vinylether (I) oder (I) und (II) in einer Menge von 5 bis 60 Mol-% zur Verbesserung der Wasserlöslichkeit des Copolymers.
- Besonders für Elektrotauchüberzüge wird nicht weniger als 30 % der Carboxylgruppe der Vinylether neutralisiert. Als Neutralisierungsmittel können die oben genannten basischen Verbindungen (3) verwendet werden.
- Werden die fluorenthaltenden Copolymere als organische Lösungen, beispielsweise organische Lösungsmitteldruckfarben, verwendet, ist ein Gehalt der Vinylether (I) oder (I) und (II) vorzugsweise 1 bis 15 Mol-% hinsichtlich der Adhäsionseigenschaft zu Substraten und vorzugsweise 2 bis 10 Mol-% hinsichtlich der Dispergierbarkeit von Pigmenten.
- Die fluorenthaltenden Copolymere können verschiedene ungesättigte Ethylenverbindungen in einer Menge von nicht mehr als 80 Mol-% des Copolymers zusätzlich zu den Vinylethern und den Fluorolefinen enthalten. Beispiele für die copolymerisierbaren ungesättigten Ethylenverbindungen sind z.B. ein Alkylvinylether oder Vinylester, dargestellt durch die Formel

Beispiele sind z.B. Methylvinylether, Ethylvinylether, n-Propylvinylether, Isopropylvinylether, n-Butylvinylether, Isobutylvinylether, t-Butylether, n-Pentylvinylether, n-Hexylvinylether, n-Octylvinylether, 2-Ethylhexylvinylether, Cyclohexylvinylether, Laurylvinylether, Stearylvinylether, 2,2,2-Trifluorethylvinylether, 2,2,3,3-Tetrafluorpropylvinylether, 2,2,3,3,3- Pentafluorpropylvinylether, 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5-Heptafluorbutylyinylether, Vinylacetat, Vinylpropionat, Vinylbutyrat, Vinylpivalat, Vinylcaproat, Vinyllaurat Vinyllauorat, Vinyl-Versalat , Vinylcyclohexancarboxylat, 4-Hydroxylbutyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxyethylvinylether, 3-Hydroxy-n-propyl-vinylether, 2-Hydroxyisopropylvinylether, 2-Hydroxy-2- methylethylvinylether, 2-Hydroxy-1, 1-dimethylethylvinylether, 4-Hydroxycyclohexylvinylether, 3-Hydroxycyclohexylvinylether, 2-Hydroxycyclohexylvinylether, 4-Hydroxybenzoxyvinylether und ähnliche.
- Weiterhin kann eine Verbindung folgender Formel verwendet werden:

- Außerdem eine Verbindung, dargestellt durch die Formel

- worin X&sup9; ein Chloratom, eine Hydroxyl- gruppe oder eine Alkoxygruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen ist. Beispiele sind z . B. Allylalkohol, Allylchlorid, Allymethylether, Allylisopropylether, Allyloctylether und ähnliche.
- Wenn erforderlich, kann eine geringe Menge von Divinylethern oder Trivinylethern, welche Salze der Vinylether (II) mit polyvalenten Metallen (z.B. Mg, Ca, Zn oder Al) oder polyfunktionalen Verbindungen mit einem Stickstoffatom oder einem Phosphoratom (z.B. Polyamine wie Alkyldiamine oder Alkyltriamine, Polyphosphine wie Alkyldiphosphine oder Alkyltriphosphine) sind, in dem Copolymerisationssystem als copolymerisierbare Monomere vorhanden sein. In diesem Fall sind die Reaktionsprodukte teilweise geliert und verwendbar für Mattiermittel.
- Die Copolymerisation kann über Emulsionspolymerisation oder Dispersionspolymerisation ausgeführt werden. In den beiden Polymerisationen ist die Polymerisationstemperatur im allgemeinen -20ºC bis 150-ºC, vorzugsweise 5ºC bis 95ºC, welche wahlweise geändert werden kann in Abhängigkeit von der Art des Initiatormaterials oder des Lösungsmittels. Auch ein Reaktionsdruck kann wahlweise ausgewählt werden und ist im allgemeinen 0 bis 50 kg/cm² G. Beispiele für Polymerisationslösungsmittel sind z.B. halogenierte Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Trichlortrifluorethan und Dichlortetrafluorethan; Ketone wie Aceton, Methyethylketon und Methylisobutylketon; Ester wie Ethylacetat und Butylacetat; aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Toluen und Xylen; Alkohole wie Methanol, Ethanol, Propanol und Butanol; Glycolether wie Ethylcellosolve, Butylcellosolve, Ethylenglycoldimethylether und Diethylenglycoldimethylether; Wasser und ähnliche.
- Beispiele für die Initiatorinaterialien sind z.B. Persulfate wie Ammoniumpersulfat und Kaliumpersulfat; Initiatormaterialien vom Redoxtyp, Persulfate und Sulfite (z.B. Kaliumsulfit, Natriumsulfit und ähnliche) umfassend und saure Sulfite (z.B.saures Kaliumsulfit, saures Natriumsulfit und ähnliche); organische Peroxide wie Diisopropylperoxydicarbonat, tert-Butylperoxybutyrat, Benzoylperoxid und Isobutyryl-peroxid; Azoverbindungen wie Azoisobutylonitril und ähnliche. Die Initiatormaterialien können im allgemeinen in einer Menge von 0.001 bis 5 Gewichts-% des Gesamtgewichts der Monomere verwendet werden, vorzugsweise 0,05 bis 2,0 Gewichts-%.
- Der Copolymerisationsprozess kann schrittweise, semikontinuierlich oder kontinuierlich ohne jede Einschränkung ausgeführt werden.
- Wie oben beschrieben, können die Vinylether (I) Copolymere mit Carboxylgruppen liefern, da die Vinylether (I), die das Salz der Carboxylgruppe enthalten, dieselbe Reaktivität haben wie gewöhnliche Vinylether und copolymerisierbar sind mit den anderen ungesättigten Ethylenverbindungen wie Fluorolefine, Vinylester oder Vinylether. Die resultierenden Copolymere sind hervorragend in der hydrophilen Eigenschaft, der Dispergierbarkeit von Pigmenten und der Adhäsionseigenschaft und können folglich als Materialien für wäßrige Überzüge, Elektrotauchüberzüge und ähnliche verwendet werden.
- Entsprechend den Vinylethern (I) und den Monomer-Zusammensetzungen, die diese enthalten, kann die intramolekulare Ringbildung der Vinylether (II), die eine freie Carboxylgruppe haben, verhindert werden, und die Stabilität der Vinylether (II) kann verbessert werden, und sind folglich als Monomere für die obige Polymerisation verwendbar.
- Die fluorenthaltenden Copolymere der vorliegenden Erfindung können in einem nicht festgelegten Lösungsmittelsystem hergestellt werden. Die fluorenthaltenden Copolymere enthalten Carboxylgruppen einheitlich, was excellente Lacke liefern kann.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung wird durch die folgenden Beispiele ausführlicher beschrieben und erklärt.
- Ein 1000ml-Kolben wurde beladen mit 154 g (1,0 Mol) 1,2-Cyclohexandicarbonsäureanhydrid (als ein Säureanhydrid) und 40 g Aceton, und dann wurden 101 g (1,0 Mol) Triethylamin (als eine Base) dazugegeben. Die Mischung wurde für 5 Minuten mit einem Magnetrührer gerührt.
- Zur Mischung wurden 116 g (1,0 Mol) Hydroxybutylvinylether tropfenweise in einem Tempo von 2 g/min hinzugegeben,während die Mischung bei 0ºC bis 10ºC durch Kühlung mit Eiswasser gehalten wurde.
- Die entstandene Reaktionsmischung wurde unterworfen der Fourier Transform-Kernmagnetischen Resonanz-Analyse (FT-NMR, ¹³C, Tetramethylsilan-Standard). Als Ergebnis wurde bestätigt, daß der Vinylether (I) der Erfindung mit der folgenden Formel zu ungefähr 100 % erhalten wurde. Die Daten der chemischen Verschiebungen für jedes Kohlenstoffatom (gekennzeichnet mit a bis m) sind im folgenden gezeigt.

- Die gleichen Verfahren wie in Beispiel 1 wurden wiederholt, außer daß die folgenden Säureanhydride an Stelle von 1,2-Cyclohexandicarbonsäureanhydrid verwendet wurden zur Herstellung der Vinylether (I) der Erfindung. Die Daten der FT-NMR-Analyse sind zusammen notiert.

- Der Vinylether (I) wurde hergestellt durch Wiederholung der gleichen Verfahren wie in Beispiel 1, außer daß die Menge von Triethylamin verändert wurde in eine Menge, gezeigt in Tabelle 1 . Die Ausbeuten, bestimmt durch FT-NMR-Analyse, sind in Tabelle 1 gezeigt.
- Außerdem wurden die Zerfallsraten (%) der resultierenden Produkte, wenn sie gelagert wurden bei 20º-C und -20ºC, durch ¹³C-NMR-Analyse bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse sind auch in Tabelle 1 gezeigt.
- Ein 1000ml-Kolben wurde mit 154 g (1,0 Mol) 1,2-Cyclohexandicarbonsäureanhydrid und 40 g Aceton beladen und die Mischung für 5 Minuten mit einem Magnetrührer gerührt.
- Zur Mischung wurden 116 g (1.0 Mol) Hydroxybutylvinylether tropfenweise mit einem Tempo von 2g/min dazugegeben, während die Mischung bei 0ºC bis 10ºC durch Kühlung mit Eiswasser gehalten wurde.
- Als ein Ergebnis der Analyse der resultierenden Reaktionsmischung durch FT-NMR-Analyse wurde nicht ein Signal von Vinyl-Kohlenstoff beobachtet und das erhaltene Produkt war eine intramolekulare Ringschlußverbindung der Formel:

- Zu dem Reaktionsprodukt, das erhalten wurde in Experiment Nr.5 von Beispiel 9 (Vinylether (I)/(II)= 0,1/84,9, molares Verhältnis), wurde die Base, gezeigt in Tabelle 2, zugegeben, um den Vinylether (II) in den Vinylether (I) umzuwandeln. Die Zerfallsraten der resultierenden Produkte wurden in derselben Weise wie in Beispiel 9 bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 2 gezeigt.
- Wie klar ist von Tabelle 2 , tragen die basischen Verbindungen mit einem pKa-Wert niedriger als 6, verursacht durch ihre schwache Base, weniger zur Stabilität der Vinylether (II) bei. - Ein 1000ml-Glasautoklav mit einem Rührer wurde beladen mit 145 g Diethylenglycoldimethylether, 175 g Isopropylalkohol (im folgenden bezeichnet als "IPA"), 63 g (0,23 Mol) der Verbindung (a) mit der Formel
- 9,6 g (0,026 Mol) der Verbindung (b) mit der Formel
- 78 g (0,39 Mol) Vinylester der Carbonsäure mit einer C&sub1;&sub0;- Alkylgruppe (VEOVA R10, erhältlich von Shell Chemical Co.; im folgenden als "VA" bezeichnet) und 62 g (0,53 Mol) Hydroxybutylvinylether, im folgenden genannt als "HBVE"). Nach der Entlüftung wurden 140 g (1,20 Mol) Chlortrifluorethylen zur Mischung gegeben. Der Autoklav wurde erhitzt unter Rühren bei 300 Umdrehungen pro Minute, und als die Temperatur der Mischung 65ºC erreicht hatte, wurden 3,2 g Azobisisobutyronitril (im folgenden als "AIBN" bezeichnet), gelöst in 30 g Diethylenglycoldimethylether, unter einem Stickstoffgasdruck eingeführt. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war der innere Druck des Autoklaven 8,2 kg/cm² G.
- Die Mischung wurde kontinuierlich gerührt, bis der innere Druck auf 1,0 kg/cm² G gesunken war bei der gleichen Temperatur (für ungefähr 12 Stunden), und der Autoklav wurde mit Wasser auf Raumtemperatur gekühlt und dann wurde die Gasphase in dem Autoklaven durch Stickstoffgas ersetzt. Die resultierende Reaktionsmischung enthielt ein Copolymer in einer Konzentration von 48 Gewichts-% (Copolymerausbeute: 336 5g).
- Die Reaktionsmischung wurde in Petrolether geschüttet und der Niederschlag (Copolymer) gewaschen und getrocknet. Als ein Resultat von Elementaranalyse, IR-Analyse und NMR-Analyse bestand das Copolymer aus CTFE (50,5 Mol-%), den Vinylethern (I) und (II) (die Summe von ihnen war 11,0 Mol-%), HBVE (22.5 Mol-%) und VA (16,0 Mol-%). Die durchschnittliche Zahl Molekulargewicht (Mn), gemessen mit GPC , war 25.000.
- Die gleichen Verfahren wie in Beispiel 11 wurden wiederholt, außer daß die Monomere, Lösungsmittel und Initiatormaterialien (und ihr Gewichtsverhältnis), gezeigt in Tabelle 3, verwendet wurden zur Herstellung der Copolymere.
- In Tabelle 3 werden die entstandene Menge, die Ausbeuten und Mn der Copolymere gezeigt.
- Die Abkürzungen in Tabelle 3 stellen die folgenden Monomere (1), Lösungsmittel (2) und Initiatormaterialien (3) dar.

- TFE: Tetrafluorethylen
- VdF: Vinylidenfluorid
- EVE: Ethylvinylether
- BVE: n-Butylvinylether
- CHVE: Cyclohexylvinylether
- 4FVE: 2,2,3,3-Tetrafluorpropylvinylether
- HBVE: Hydroxybutylvinylether
- M5FP: CF&sub2;=CFCF&sub2;CH&sub2;OH Experiment Nr.

- MIBK: Methylisobutylketon
- R-113: Trichlotrifluorethan

Claims (14)
1. Vinylether der Formel (I)
CH&sub2;=CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)O(H)nM (I)
worin R¹ ein divalenter aliphatischer Rest mit 2 bis 10
Kohlenstoffatomen, R² ein divalenter organischer Rest und M ein
Alkalimetall oder eine monofunktionale basische Verbindung mit einem
Stickstoffatom oder einem Phosphoratom und einen pKa-Wert von 6 bis
12 ist, mit n gleich 0, wenn M ein Alkalimetall ist, und n gleich 1,
wenn M anders ist.
2. Vinylether nach Anspruch 1, in denen das Alkalimetall ein
Bestandteil der Gruppe aus Na, K und Li ist.
3. Vinylether nach Anspruch 1, in denen die basische Verbindung einen
pKa-Wert von 8 bis 11 hat.
4. Vinylether nach Anspruch 1, in denen die basische Verbindung ein
Bestandteil der Gruppe aus Ammoniak, einem Amin und ejnem Phosphin
ist.
5. vinylether nach Anspruch 1, in denen die basische Verbindung ein
tertiäres Amin ist.
6. Vinylether nach Anspruch 1, in denen R² ein divalenter
Kohlenwasserstoffrest ist.
7. Vinylether nach Anspruch 1, in denen R² ein Rest entsprechend der
formel (i) ist:
worin X¹ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen, X² ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit
1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen ist und p und q gleich 0 oder eine ganze
Zahl von 1 bis 11 sind, unter der Bedingung, daß sie nicht
gleichzeitig gleich O sind;
ein Rest entsprechend der Formel (ii) ist:
worin X³ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen, r gleich 0 oder eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 3 und s
eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 3 ist; ein Rest entsprechend der Formel
(iii) ist:
worin R&sup7; (CHX&sup4;)t ist, wobei X&sup4; ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine
Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und t eine
ganzen Zahl von 1 bis 4 ist,-CH&sub2;CH=CHCH&sub2;-,
ein Rest entsprechend der Formel (iv) ist:
worin R&sup8; (CHX&sup5; ist, wobei X&sup5; ein Wasserstoffatom oder
eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und u eine ganze Zahl
von 3 bis 4 ist, oder (CX&sup6;=CX&sup7; , worin X&sup6; und X&sup7; gleich oder
verschieden sind und ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1
bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeuten und v eine ganze Zahl von 2 bis 3
ist;
ein Rest entsprechend der Formel (v):
-C(=CH&sub2;)-CH&sub2;- (v);
ein Rest entsprechend der formel (vi) ist:

CH&sub2;=CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)O(H)nM
worin R¹ ein divalenter aliphatischer Rest mit 2 bis 10
Kohlenstoffatomen, R² ein divalenter organischer Rest und M ein
Alkalimetall oder eine monofunktionale basische Verbindung mit einem
Stickstoffatom oder einem Phosphoratom und einem pKa-Wert von 6 bis
12 ist, mit n gleich 0, wenn M ein Alkalimetall ist und n gleich 1,
wenn M anders ist,
und Vinylether der Formel (II)
CH&sub2;=CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)OH (II)
worin R¹ und R² wie oben definiert sind und die genannten Vinylether
(I) in einer Menge von nicht weniger als 1 Mol-% der genannten
Vinylether (II) enthalten sind.
9. Monomer-Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 8, welche die Vinylether (I)
in einer Menge von nicht weniger als 5 Mol-% der Vinylether (II)
enthalten.
10. Monomer-Zusammensetzungen nach Anspruch 8, in denen R² ein Rest der
Formel (i) ist:
worin X¹ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen, X² ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit
1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen ist und p und q gleich 0 oder ganze Zahlen
von 1 bis 11 sind, unter der Bedingung, daß sie nicht gleichzeitig
gleich 0 sind;
ein Rest der Formel (ii) ist:
worin X³ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen, r gleich 0 oder eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 3 und s
eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 3 ist;
ein Rest der Formel (iii) ist:
worin R&sup7; (CHX&sup4; ist, wobei X&sup4; ein Wasserstoffatom oder
eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und t eine
ganze Zahl von 1 bis 4 ist,-CH&sub2;CH=CHCH&sub2;-,
ein Rest der Formel (iv) ist:
worin R&sup8; (CHX&sup5; ist, wobei X&sup5; ein Wasserstoffatom oder
eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und u eine ganze Zahl
von 3 bis 4 oder (CX&sup6;=CX&sup7; ist, wobei X&sup6; und X&sup7; gleich
oder verschieden sind und ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe
mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeuten und v eine ganze Zahl von 2
bis 3 ist;
ein Rest der formel (v) ist:
-C(=CH&sub2;)-CH&sub2;- (v);
ein Rest der Formel (vi) ist:
11. Fluor enthaltende Copolymere, hergestellt durch Copolymerisierung
von Fluorolefinen mit Vinylethern der Formel (I)
CH&sub2;=CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)O(H)nM (I)
worin R¹ ein divalenter aliphatischer Rest mit 2 bis 10
Kohlenstoffatomen, R² ein divalenter organischer Rest und M ein
Alkalimetall oder eine monofunktionale basische Verbindung mit einem
Stickstoffatom oder einem Phosphoratom und einem pKa-Wert von 6 bis
12 ist, mit n gleich 0, wenn M ein Alkalimetall und n gleich 1, wenn
M anders ist,
oder Monomer-Zusammensetzungen aus den Vinylethern (I) und den
Vinylethern der formel (II)
CH&sub2;=CHOR¹OC(=O)R²C(=O)OH (II)
worin R¹ und R² wie oben definiert sind und die genannten Monomer-
Zusammensetzungen die Vinylether (I) in einer Menge von nicht
weniger als 1 Mol-% der Vinylether (II) enthalten.
12. Fluor enthaltende Copolymere nach Anspruch 11, in denen die Monomer-
Zusammensetzungen die Vinylether (I) in einer Menge von nicht
weniger als 5 Mol-% der Vinylether (II) enthalten.
13. Fluor enthaltende Copolymere nach Anspruch 11, in denen R² ein Rest
der Formel (i) ist:
worin X¹ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen, X² ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit
1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen ist und p und q gleich 0 oder ganze Zahlen
von 1 bis 11 sind, unter der Bedingung, daß sie nicht gleichzeitig
gleich 0 sind;
ein Rest der Formel (ii) ist:
worin X³ ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3
Kohlenstoffatomen, r gleich 0 oder eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 3 und s
eine ganze Zahl von 1 bis 3 ist;
ein Rest der Formel (iii) ist:
worin R&sup7; (CHX&sup4; ist, wobei X&sup4; ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine
Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und t eine
ganze Zahl von 1 bis 4 ist -CH&sub2;CH=CHCH&sub2;-,
ein Rest der Formel (iv) ist;
worin R&sup8; (CHX&sup5; ist, wobei X&sup5; ein Wasserstoffatom oder
eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen und u eine ganze Zahl
von 3 bis 4 ist oder (CX&sup6;=CX&sup7; ist, wobei X&sup6; und X&sup7;
gleich oder verschieden sind und ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine
Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen bedeuten und v eine ganze
Zahl von 2 bis 3 ist;
ein Rest der Formel (v) ist:
-C(=CH&sub2;)-CH&sub2;- (v);
ein Rest der Formel (vi) ist:
14. fluor enthaltende Copolymere nach Anspruch 11, in denen das
Fluorolefin aus der Gruppe von Tetrafluorethylen,
Chlortrifluorethylen, Hexafluorpropylen, Trifluorethylen,
Vinylidenfluorid und Vinylfluorid ausgewählt ist.
