Abstract

The transformer has a winding with a number of parallel winding strands (1,2) each comprising a number of partial windings connected in series. The partial windings (1/2) of the different strands are arranged in radial opposition to one another relative to the transformer core (K) so that the induced voltages are equal to one another. Pref. the successive partial windings (1a,1b) of one strand (1) are offset radially from one another in alternation in the axial direction of the transformer core (K), for interleaving with the complementary partial windings (2a,2b) of a second strand (2).
