Abstract

The device comprises a source of pressurised air, and a reservoir containing an abrasive powder and connected to the source. A discharge nozzle is connected to the reservoir. The reservoir comprises an upper container (12) into which the abrasive is supplied and which is provided with an electric heater (40), and a pressurisable lower container (14) connected to the source of pressurised air and to the discharge nozzle. A valve assembly (16,V,30,26) is interposed between the containers and is adapted to enable the dried abrasive to fall by gravity form the upper container to the lower container.
