Nach dem Hauptpatent sollen Zemente aus Hochofenschlacke dadurch hergestellt oder verbessert werden, daß Salzträger mit anregend wirkenden Salzen getränkt und dem Zement beigemahlen werden.Manufacture of cement from blast furnace slag. Bei den neueren Untersuchungen des Erfinders hat sich nun herausgestellt, daß das Verfahren geeignet ist, nicht nur die Abbindezeit des Zementes zu verkürzen, sondern auch z. B. die Abbindezeit des Zementes zu verlängern, die Salzwasserbeständigkeit des Betons zu erhöhen oder sonstwie dessen Eigenschaften zu verändern, dadurch, daß man entsprechend wirkende Salze den Trägerstoffen einverleibt, die dann mit der Hochofenschlacke oder dem Zement, der aus der Hochofenschlacke hergestellt wird, vermahlen werden. So kann z. B. Ammoniumkarbonat zur Erhöhung der Salzwasserbeständigkeit oder bei i Umschlägern und Schnellbindern verzögernd wirkendes Salz genommen und auf diese Weise der Zement in seinen Eigenschaften weitgehend verändert werden. Auch festigkeitserhöhende oder überhaupt das Abbinden herbeiführende Salze können verwendet werden, so daß an Klinkerzusatz bei Hochofenzement gespart oder dieser ganz weggelassen werden kann.In the more recent investigations of the inventor it has now been found that the process is suitable not only to shorten the setting time of the cement, but also z.
