Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for disposal or Treatment of sewage sludge, especially sewage sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plants.
The invention also relates to an after Processed waste paper sewage sludge rotting material.
From DE-OS 36 13 398 it is known paper with sewage sludge to mix intimately. The deformable mixture is pressed tools pressed into heating briquettes. By the pre-press atmospheric oxygen reaches the partial fermentability gene sludge particles, causing the bacterial activity in Gear, which is ultimately for odorless, dry and ensures well storable heating briquettes.
It is based on the aforementioned prior art Object of the invention, a method for disposal or Treatment of sewage sludge to create, which without called pressing tools, mud presses, centrifuges or the like. gets along, i.e. in which the same with the help of simple means probably a disposal or an efficient reliable opening preparing sewage sludge is possible and an odorless storable hygienically largely harmless end pro product is created.
The object on which the invention is based is achieved there through that non-thickened sewage sludge with dusty or shredded waste paper with maximum moisture of 5 to 10% in a weight ratio of approx. 65% sewage sludge and approx. 35% waste paper mixed and through microbial heating to over 60 ° C over several days evaporated or dried or dehydrated.
The Ver according to the invention is advantageously further developed drive through subclaims 2 and 3.
A waste paper produced by the method according to the invention sewage sludge rotting material can according to the characteristics of Subclaims 4, 5 and 6 continue to be used.
The non-thickened sewage sludge becomes shredded old mixed with paper. Due to the activity of aerobic, substance degrading bacteria that are always in municipal sewage sludge are included, one achieves heating, drying and Decontamination of the sewage sludge. You get a stray and storable, hygienically largely harmless product, this is far less volume than the starting material takes up and offers no odor.
The first goal of the process is efficient and as possible economical sewage sludge drying and weight reduction Treatment of the sewage sludge using crushed waste paper, without the use of centrifuges or mud presses sen or the like The product obtained in particular becomes more mixed with sewage sludge to ensure maximum evaporation of water with the least possible use of waste paper to reach. The primary aim of the process is not Win waste paper sludge compost.
1. Municipal sewage sludge:
Municipal sewage sludge is used, as is usually the case after the passage through the anaerobic digestion process in large quantities in the sewage treatment plant. This water has a solids content of approx. 4-7% by weight (kg / 100 l) and does not have to be dewatered further for the process described.
2. Altpapier:
Waste paper:
In the municipal and commercial sector, there is a large amount of different types of waste paper, which are only suitable for recycling in paper mills with a high level of energy and technology and are therefore not recycled but disposed of at low waste paper prices. It is essential for the process that the waste paper has a maximum moisture content of 5 to 10%.
1. Zerkleinerung:
Das Altpapier wird je nach Zusammensetzung zerkleinert
und homogenisiert. Einige Papierabfälle, wie Papier
staub, können ohne jede Vorzerkleinerung verwendet wer
den.1. Size reduction:
Depending on the composition, the waste paper is shredded and homogenized. Some paper waste, such as paper dust, can be used without any pre-shredding.
2. Mischung:
Das zerkleinerte Altpapier wird mit Klärschlamm im
Gewichtsverhältnis 35% Altpapier und 65% Klärschlamm
vermischt.
Mix:
The shredded waste paper is mixed with sewage sludge in a weight ratio of 35% waste paper and 65% sewage sludge. Mixing takes place either directly after the shredding machine or during the transfer. The mixture immediately stops the odor nuisance caused by the sewage sludge.
Rotting and sewage sludge evaporation:
The microbial heating of the resulting mixture of waste paper and sewage sludge to over 60 ° C over several days evaporates a large part of the water in the sewage sludge.
The drop in temperature after a few days signals the decrease in the oxygen and moisture content in the fermenter tanks or in the rents.
After 2 weeks, the starting material can be clarified again mud mixed to maximize ver to achieve damping. The whole process is about repeated three to six times. So can about 1 ton Base material paper at least 2 to 2.5 tons of clarifier be evaporated.
About 1.2 to 1.5 tons of waste paper clarification are then obtained sludge rotting material with a residual moisture content of 30 to 50% by weight depending on the storage period.
The final product obtained, a waste paper sludge waste, can continue to be used as follows:
papier unbedenklich hinsichtlich seiner Zusammensetzung
mit schwerabbaubaren toxischen anorganischen oder orga
nischen Stoffen, kann ein Einsatz als Bodenverbesserungs
mittel in der Landwirtschaft oder bei Flächenbegrünungen
erfolgen. Voraussetzung ist eine ständige Kontrolle der
stofflichen Zusammensetzung des Endproduktes, um auch
Anreicherungen durch den wiederholten Rottevorgang er
kennen zu können.
1. Use as a soil conditioner:
If both the sewage sludge and the waste paper used are harmless with regard to their composition with difficult-to-decompose toxic inorganic or organic substances, they can be used as soil conditioners in agriculture or for greening areas. A prerequisite is a constant control of the material composition of the end product in order to be able to recognize accumulations through the repeated rotting process.
2. Verbrennung:
Combustion:
Alternatively, a combustion of the end product is possible if this takes place in an incineration plant that has appropriate flue gas cleaning systems, as is now mandatory for all waste incineration plants. Compared to the known, direct sewage sludge incineration, there is great energy savings, since the water content of the sewage sludge is greatly reduced. When the rotting material is burned, a positive energy balance can even be expected due to the still high carbon content.
3. Deponierung:
Landfill:
If the waste paper or sewage sludge used is contaminated with heavy metals or biodegradable, biologically questionable substances, it is deposited in a hazardous waste landfill. It should be emphasized here that this is also necessary for the respective starting materials and cannot drive the method according to the invention as a disadvantage. A great advantage over a known direct sewage sludge deposit is the relatively firm binding of any heavy metals in the rotting material, so that leaching on a landfill is far less to be feared than with a known direct sewage sludge deposit.
All new features mentioned in the description alone and / or in a meaningful combination are essential to the invention Lich, even if not explicitly stated in the claims are claimed.
