Tauchrohre von oben her eingehängt.
Device for utilizing the heat of liquid slag to generate steam.
The invention relates to a device for utilizing the heat of liquid slugs
for the generation of low-voltage steam, in which the slag passes through dip tubes
is fed to a closed container and withdrawn under the exclusion of water.
The new device differs from similar devices of this type in that
that above the steam generator, a collecting basin divided into chambers for the
Accruing slag is arranged and from each chamber a drain pipe into the water space
of the steam container leads. Here these drainage pipes consist of insert bodies
made of refractory material with a metal jacket with after
down yourself
tapering clear cross-section and are in the bottom stepped and strongly tapered
Immersion tubes suspended from above. The incoming slag fills the cross-section
the insert pipes completely and wins because of the decreasing cross-section
downwards at speed so that steam escapes through the pipes
is avoided. Each chamber of the slag waste container can be switched off individually,
the switched off immersion tube being closed off to the outside by a plug, cover or the like
can be. In known devices for the recovery of the heat content liquid
Slag free inlets are provided that are not completely covered by the slag
be completed, so that the steam generated immediately under the inlet pipes
to a large extent must exit through the pipes. That of the liquid slag mainly
attacked parts, namely the inlet pipes, are easy to replace
designed so that they are loose in the dip tubes closing off the container to the outside
can be hooked in on their own and, as a result, just as easily lifted out again
and can be replaced. Depending on the slag inflow, only individual dip tubes can be used
or their entirety can be opened for the slag inlet, so that the steam generation
can adapt itself exactly to the operating conditions of the furnace emitting the slag.

Above the boiler a. there is a slag drainage channel on the slag platform g with individual chambers f, each of which has a bottom hole for receiving an inlet pipe c ° made of refractory and from The gaps i (Fig. 2) between the head of the pipes e and the bottom hole wall are filled with sand for the purpose of sealing. The individual chambers have overflows or slots k for evenly distributing the incoming slag, including The base h lying in the middle of the star chambers f can be used. From the top of the container a, several fixed tubes d of the same number as the star chambers lead down into the inside of the boiler and are sharply tapered at the lower end Open ends extend so far into the boiler water that steam escape is excluded is ossen, the inlet pipes e are hung and sit with their lower end faces on the shoulder of the tapered immersion pipe. For the replacement of the inlet pipes e eyelets are provided at the top of the sheet metal jacket, which allow a tool to be attached to lift the pipe. The feed water is fed through a pipe L into the shaft c and is preheated on the way to the inside of the boiler by the slag that has been excavated and collected in the slag bag. After removal of the inlet pipe e, the immersion pipes d can be closed off in a vapor-tight manner by a cover n. The steam pressure of the boiler, which can be kept at a high level by automatic pressure regulators, should only be low and the water column in the tapered end of the immersion tube should not rise above the mark in (Fig. 2).
