Abstract

Ebenso wie der Verbindungsprofilstrang 2 und das flexible Rastband 11 besitzt das Dichtband 16 ebenfalls Öffnungen 19, die äquivalent zu den Öffnungen 8 und 12 angeordnet sind. Das Dichtband 16 besteht ebenso wie das Rastband 11 aus einem flexiblen Kunststoff oder Gummi, um die angrenzenden Flächen völlig abzudichten, damit keine Luft oder Feuchtigkeit in den Innenraum des Fahrzeuges eindringen kann. Es sind natürlich eine Reihe von Dichtbandausbildungen denkbar, so daß diese Variante nur beispielhaft dargestellt ist. Beim Herstellen der Befestigungsanordnung wird zuerst das Dichtband 16 derart über die Befestigungsmittel 7 geschoben, daß dessen Vorsprung 17 am seitlichen Außenrand des Verbindungsprofilstranges 1 anliegt und die Nut 18 zum Außenraum wegweist. Dabei durchdringt das Befestigungsmittel 7 die Öffnung 19 des Dichtbandes 16. Nun wird der Verbindungsprofilstrang 2 mit dem daran befestigten Verdeckmaterial 6 über das Befestigungsmittel 7 geschoben, so daß das Befestigungsmittel 7 die Öffnung 8 des Verbindungsprofilstranges 2 durchdringt. Daran anschließend durchdringt das Befestigungsmittel 7 des Verbindungsprofilstranges 1 die Öffnung 12 des flexiblen Rastbandes 11, wobei die Rastzungen 9 des Befestigungsmittels 7 bestrebt sind, sich voneinander weg zu bewegen, so daß die Arretierungsmittel 10 das flexible Rastband 11 hintergreifen. In einer Ausbildungsform gemäß Fig. 4 wiederum ist gar kein Absatz vorhanden, so daß die Fensterscheibe 4 unmittelbar bis an das Dichtband 16 heranreicht. Dieser Umfangsrand 21 ist gemäß Fig. 5 nach wie vor mit dem Verdeckmaterial 6 umgeben und wird vorzugsweise an der zum Innenraum des Fahrzeuges gerichteten Fläche des Befestigungsfortsatzes 5 des Verbindungsprofilstranges 2, vorzugsweise verklebt. In Fig. 6 ist ein noch größerer Umfangsrand 21 von der verbrauchten Fensterscheibe 4 erhalten, der nur teilweise von Verdeckmaterial 6 umgriffen wird. In dieser Ausführungsform wird der Umfangsrand 21 direkt mit der zum Innenraum des Fahrzeuges gerichteten Fläche des Befestigungsfortsatzes 5 des Verbindungsprofilstranges 2 verklebt oder verschweißt. Dabei kann auf der nach innen gerichteten Fläche des Umfangsrandes 21 eine Abdeckung 22 aufgebracht sein. Durch diese Ausführungsformen wird ermöglicht, verbrauchte Fensterscheiben 4 durch neue Fensterscheiben zu ersetzen, wobei der Umfangsrand 21 der verbrauchten Scheibe in die Befestigungsanordnung einbezogen wird. Die daran anliegende Fläche des anderen Verbindungsprofilstranges 2 besitzt ebenfalls ein Rastprofil, das mit dem Rastverriegelungselement des Verbindungsprofilstranges 1 korrespondiert. Das Rastprofil 23 ist dabei so ausgebildet, daß dieses durch Ineinanderdrehen der Verbindungsprofilstränge 1 und 2 miteinander verhakt wird. Dadurch wird eine zusätzliche Sicherung und Arretierung mit der Befestigungsanordnung erreicht. Das Rastprofil 23 kann beispielsweise auch als Schnappelement oder Schnappprofil ausgebildet sein. Claims

1.Fixing arrangement for an optionally flexible window in a flexible, generally removable or collapsible roof covering of a vehicle, with a first connecting profile strand fastened substantially circumferentially along the outer edge of the window pane and a second circumferentially fastened substantially circumferentially on the roof material along the edge delimiting the window opening Connecting profile strand, wherein both profile strands are provided with mutually interlocking, releasable locking means which can only be released from a top side, generally the inside, characterized in that one of the connecting profile strands ( 1 ) is perpendicular to the common plane of the window pane ( 4 ) and of the convertible top material ( 6 ) is provided with fastening means ( 7 ) which, in openings ( 8 ) which are covered by them, in an overlapping area of the other connecting profile strand ( 2 ) protrude and engage behind the peripheral edge of the openings ( 8 ) facing away from the first connecting profile strand ( 1 ).

2. Arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that the fastening means ( 7 ) are cone-shaped and are provided with further locking means ( 10 ).

3. Arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that each fastening means ( 7 ) consists of two spaced-apart latching tongues ( 9 ) which are provided on the opposite outer sides of their ends with locking means ( 10 ).

4. Arrangement according to claim 3, characterized in that the locking means ( 10 ) are designed as locking lugs.

Arrangement according to claim 1 or 3, characterized in that when composite connecting profile strands ( 1 , 2 ) the locking means ( 10 ) are located at a distance from the back of the other connecting profile strand ( 2 ) and that a locking band ( 11 ) is provided, which for its part has openings ( 12 ) and can be pressed with these via the latching extensions ( 7 ) and against the back of the other connecting profile strand ( 2 ) in order to be engaged behind by the locking means ( 10 ).

6. Arrangement according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a sealing tape ( 16 ) is provided in the overlap region of the connecting profile strands ( 1 , 2 ) between them.

7. Arrangement according to at least one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the connecting profile strands ( 1 , 2 ) in each case one in the plane of the window pane ( 4 ) or the convertible top material ( 6 ) protruding and parallel to it fastening attachment ( 3 , 5th ) exhibit.

8. Arrangement according to at least one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the connecting profile strand ( 1 ) provided with the fastening means ( 7 ) is fastened with its fastening extension ( 3 ) along the outer edge of the window pane ( 4 ).

9. Arrangement according to at least one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that at least one of the connecting profile strands ( 2 ) is cranked to the inside of the top side.

10. The arrangement according to claim 6, characterized in that the sealing tape ( 16 ) has in its outer end region a peripheral projection ( 17 ) directed towards the outside of the roof covering.

11. The arrangement according to claim 10, characterized in that the circumferential projection ( 17 ) has a circumferential groove ( 18 ) directed from the outside to the inside of the roof covering.

12. The arrangement according to claim 6, characterized in that the sealing tape ( 16 ) in the overlap region of the connecting profile strands ( 1 , 2 ) at least up to the fastening means ( 7 ) of the first connecting profile strand ( 1 ).

13. The arrangement according to claim 5, characterized in that the locking band ( 11 ) has flexible elements ( 13 ) for changing the distance of its openings ( 12 ).

14. Arrangement according to claim 13, characterized in that the flexible elements ( 13 ) have openings ( 14 ) which are surrounded by corresponding webs ( 15 ).

Arrangement according to claim 7 and 8, characterized in that the fastening extension ( 3 ) of the fastening means ( 7 ) having connecting profile strand ( 1 ) directed towards the inside of the roof covering locking profile ( 23 ) and the adjacent end of the other connecting profile strand ( 2 ) also has a corresponding locking profile ( 23 ).

16. The arrangement according to claim 6, characterized in that the sealing tape ( 16 ) is integrally formed with at least one of the connecting profile strands ( 1 , 2 ).
