und mit dem Fördergefäß durch eine Rohr- , ίο leitung verbunden ist. Diese Bauart bietet ;
verschiedene Vorteile.
so einrichten, daß der Schwimmer erst dann die Steuerung von der Säureein- ;
einige Zeit beansprucht, wachsen die Druckluftverluste auf sehr erhebliche Beträge an.In the case of siphons for acid and other liquids with direct exposure to
Compressed air, steam or pressurized gas have been partially used by the control organs
not to relocate the operating float in the actual delivery chamber, but
into a secondary vessel, which is attached approximately at the level of the cover of the conveying vessel
and is connected to the bucket by a pipe, ίο line. This type of construction offers;
various advantages. First of all, you can see the elevation of the float and the secondary vessel
set up so that the float only then controls the acid input;
running- switches over to the compressed air charging period j when the conveying vessel is also completely
is filled with acid so that the compressed air entering does not cause damage
must fill up the space before the acid begins to displace; this way j
the compressed air is better used. Furthermore, it can be achieved that the changeover!
approximation process itself runs quickly by the float at the narrow cross-section j
of the secondary vessel is quickly raised by the incoming acid, while floats in the conveying vessel always
are bound to the naturally slow speed with which the liquid level changes here
lifts. Finally the bucket is completely free of any moving parts; should the movable ones
Parts are checked during operation, it is sufficient to open the secondary vessel while
the lid of the bucket does not need to be lifted off. The advantages are offset by the difficulty that vice versa
the changeover from the compressed air charging period to the acid running-in period
in the case of such pulsometers, this is no longer done by the swimmer himself
can be effected, as is the case with the jacks where the swimmer is
is in the bucket. This reversal must take place when the compressed air
has almost completely displaced the acid, i.e. when the liquid level in the conveying vessel
has sunk to the lowest level. ; If the float is housed in the conveying vessel,
so it is formed, for example, so long in the vertical direction that it is up to
just above the bottom reaches so that it is at the moment when the liquid level is sufficient
has sunk deeply, loses its buoyancy and thereby displaces the controls. this
, but is not suitable for siphons with a small secondary vessel at lid height; much more
it is not easily possible with these, from the low liquid level
To influence the swimmer in his high chamber. So you have so far
in the case of lifters with a raised control vessel, completely apart from the aforementioned reversal
from the swimmer, but has to use another reversal procedure
grasped, consisting in the fact that after reaching the deepest liquid level
lets the compressed air escape from the conveying vessel through the riser pipe, so that there is a pressure drop, which then
somehow triggers the reversing mechanism. However, this method always has a large waste of compressed air
result; because during the time it takes for the compressed air in the delivery tank to go from the operating pressure to the low
Pressure that triggers the reversal to drop, compressed air continues to flow continuously into the conveying container, without
to do useful work. But since the outflow of the in a larger container
trapped compressed air through more or less narrow lines
If taken for some time, the compressed air losses grow to very considerable amounts.
Teilen freien Weise dadurch, daß vom For-The present invention now provides a type in which it becomes possible to use
the liquid level in the conveying vessel but the float in the elevated one

in ihren beiden Endlagen erkennen lassen.
durch die Leitung 27 in das Druckgefäß ro.In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention in Fig. Ι is in cross section
reproduced, while Fig. 2 and 3 on a larger scale the main parts of the reversal
can be recognized in their two end positions. The bucket 10 is of the
Feed line 11 filled from with the interposition of a check valve, while from
the riser 12 runs out at its bottom. In the lid of the bucket 10 is a special one
Chamber 40 attached, by means of the starting from its bottom and also reaching close to the bottom of the conveying vessel
Line 22 is connected to the conveying vessel 10. This also goes from
Upper part of the chamber 40 has a line 24 which is somewhat shorter than the line 22. In the
Chamber 40 moves the float 16 ', whose rod 41 through a tube 42 into the
Housing 13 for reversing leads. When entering it, it carries a valve cone
43, which lies against the valve seat 44 in the upper position of the float 16 '
and so the pipe 42 and thus the float chamber 40 closes off from the outside. in the
Inside the housing 13, the rod 41 engages the balance beam 45 on the other
Side is under the load of the weight 46, which is outwardly by the at the same time
opening 28 serving as an exhaust is guided. The supplied through terminal 14
Compressed air passes through an interchangeable seat valve 47, which is moved by the balance beam 45, into the chamber 48 and from there
through line 27 into the pressure vessel ro.
When the liquid enters the conveying vessel 10 from the line 11, the latter fills
and also through the line 22 the float chamber 40, the latter contained in the latter
Air around the valve cone 43 into the housing 13 and out of this through the exhaust
28 can escape into the open. If the swimmer 16 'has achieved sufficient performance,
so he closes the valve 43 with the rod 41 (see. Fig. 2) to under the action
of the weight 46 with the help of the balance beam 45 and the incoming compressed air
To press the shuttle seat valve 47 onto its upper seat. It is easy to see
that at this moment the conveying vessel 10 is always full. the
Compressed air from the connection 14 now passes through the line 27 into the conveying vessel 10
a to force the liquid through line 12 therefrom. The fact that
at the same time, the liquid is now also compressed through the line 22 in the chamber 40
the air in the pipe 42 still rises somewhat is of no importance, since it only does
an increased pressing of the valve 43 occurs.
When the conveying vessel 10 is emptied, it falls below the mouth of the line
24 a, whereby a complete pressure equalization between the delivery chamber 10 and
the float chamber 40 produces so that it has previously been filled with liquid

the interchangeable seat valve cone 47, now lifted from its upper seat, into the housing
