Abstract

The rainwater-utilisation system has the task of utilising rainwater collected from the roof surface of the hose for a number of purposes. The rainwater is collected in an underground tank (protected from sun rays due to the formation of algae). Said underground tank may consist of plastic or precast concrete compound units. It should have a capacity of at least 10 cubic metres. The rainwater collected is kept on standby by means of an HWA (5) at each tapping point at a constant pressure and without being subjected to waiting times. The rainwater flows through a number of cleaning stages, acid rain caused by the environment has no influence on use for washing and cleaning purposes. The alkaline detergents neutralise the acid rain. By virtue of the installation of the rainwater-utilisation system, 54% of valuable drinking water is saved. This 54% is made up of 35% for WC-flushing, 11% for washing laundry (washing machine), 4% for watering gardens, supplying water to ponds, 2% for washing cars, and 2% for cleaning. Furthermore, the clarification installations are relieved (less phosphate in the waste water). In the case of heavy rainfall, a multiplicity of such installations act in the same way as a stormwater retention tank and relieve the drainage systems and the clarification installations. The drinking-water reservoirs are spared and preserved for the future. This system is invented principally for the private user and should be used in this sector.

Description

The invention relates to a rainwater harvesting system for the Use of the collected rainwater for many purposes.

The rainwater utilization system is characterized by its versatile use, for flushing the toilet, washing clothes, cleaning, garden pond irrigation, car washing, cleaning devices. Other characteristic parts are the rainwater circulation system ( 16, 17 ) for oxygen enrichment and the different cleaning stages with the leaf trap ( 1 ) in the rain gutter, and the strainer ( 2 ) in the downpipe, the pre-filter with suction pipe and foot valve ( 4 ), as well as a house water filter ( 6 ) after the domestic water machine ( 5 ). Another characteristic part is the saving of 54% drinking water.

Previous rainwater harvesting systems only take place in summer and mainly for garden irrigation.

The invention has the task of rainwater all year round and in one lot to use on a larger scale.

The object is achieved in that a rainwater tank ( 3 ) is let into the earth (approx. 10 cbm).

Der Hauswasserautomat (5) sorgt für einen konstanten Druck an allen Zapfstellen (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).The domestic water machine ( 5 ) ensures constant pressure at all taps ( 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 ).

Thanks to the built-in circulation system ( 16, 17 ), the rainwater remains fresh even after long periods of storage. A timer or a follow-up relay is installed in the circuit of the water heater ( 5 ). These ensure that the pump runs for a longer time and thus overpressure. This is fed back into the rainwater tank via the circulation line ( 16 ) and the safety valve ( 17 ). At the end of the circulation line, a nozzle ( 18 ) is installed, through which the rain water is trickled and connects with the atmospheric oxygen that is in the rain water tank. The quality of the rainwater always remains the same. If there is a lack of water, the float ( 19 ) switches off to avoid a defect in the HWA ( 5 ).

Advantages achievable with this invention are the saving of 54% drinking water, cleaning agents and detergents are saved with the soft rainwater, furthermore the sewage treatment plants are relieved (less phosphate in the wastewater). Alternative detergents bring in better result than before. In heavy rainfall, one would Many such systems act as a rainwater retention basin that Sewage systems and sewage treatment plants would be relieved. Our drinking water reservoirs are protected and ours Get offspring.

An embodiment is in the drawing Rainwater harvesting system shown.
