Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verschließvor= richtung für Postsäcke und ähnliche Gegenstände, bei der an den Enden eines den Sack umschließenden Bandes o. dgl. zwei Nerschlußelemente angel,racht sind, die ineinandergreifen und durch ein Siegel o. dgl. verschlossen werden können, und besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß das eine der Verschlußelemente, nachdem es mit seinem einen Ende mit einem hakenartigen Ansatz des anderen Elementes in Eingriff gebracht ist, auf das -den Sack umschließende Band als Spannhebel wirkt und daß in einer Vertiefung des einen Verschlußelementes ein umlegbares Sperrstück angeordnet ist; das nach dem Umlegen in die Vertiefung einen Daumen des anderen Verschlußelementes in der Verschlußlage sichert.Closing device for mail bags and similar containers.
