Description

Connection of the end of the supporting leaf spring to the underframe by means of a rubber block, especially for motor vehicles. In automotive engineering it is common to have all connections positive and paired between moving parts, usually in metal to run on metal. The well-known spring shackles, universal connections and hook connections use metal on metal, causing heavy wear, breakage, cost, noise and Causes lubrication problems. It has been suggested many times that these compounds to lubricate, do as much as possible to reduce wear and tear. The main purpose of the invention is to provide such metallic connections in motor vehicle construction to avoid and instead use a padded, non-metallic connection, which is inherently strong enough to withstand the stresses, but none at the same time Lubrication requires and neither the frictional wear nor the 1 ei metal parts exposed to feared fractures. _ \ uch the new connection avoids that the sound of the metal connections. Another purpose of the invention is a reduction in production and maintenance costs. The one on the drawing illustrated embodiments show the application of the invention in motor vehicles assets Interposition of a non-perforated rubber block between the metal parts to be connected, like pen and frame. The illustrated embodiment shows a relatively stiff one resilient upholstery block, the main body of which is made of rubber and which is irrespective of it its resilience is firm and durable.

Die Zeichnung zeigt schematisch ein Ausführungsbeispiel. The drawing shows schematically an embodiment.

I is a side view of a motor vehicle wheel and the adjacent one Frame part; Fig. 2 shows in detail the new connection (between spring and Frame; FIG. 3 is a cross-section taken along line 3-3 of FIG. 2.

To illustrate the problem in a simple form, see the drawing shows the connection between the spring and the carriage, there, where the force is transmitted through the spring.

Die Wagenfeder a. (Abb. i) trägt den Rahinen b. The carriage spring a. (Fig. I) carries the Rahinen b. So far the connection has been between the two caused by metal spring shackles. These cannot be effective be lubricated, and most of the time you don't even try to lubricate them, like that that the shackles are quickly destroyed by rubbing metal on metal and there is often an annoying noise. The shackles themselves also do not have the effect to somehow leave the suspension. According to the invention, through a connection remedied by means of a cushioned body. According to Fig. A and 3 is a resilient Block c under compression in one carried by the side frame support b Housing d clamped. The spring a is led into the body of this block. The block is preferably unperforated. This can be done for more convenient installation and removal Housing d have a removable cover dl which is fastened by bolts c. if each end of the Fe-1 ler r, is fixed in a block c such that the spring can a stretch freely from the middle towards the ends is fixed with -leii side supports of the frame and transmits road bumps or any other upward or downward stresses through the mediation of the block c. '' enable the clamping of the block under compression, it serves permanently as a mechanical one Connection to power transmission in addition to the well-known buffer effect. At acquaintances Executions, one end of the spring is held tight, so when the spring is bent out undesirably large horizontal movement is transmitted to the axle and the suspension rapidly decreases with the flattening of the spring. The block c supports the frame b in such a way that that he reduced the lateral fluctuations to a minimum and all through the spring absorbs a transmitted transverse stresses and tremors.

In the preferred embodiment, block c consists of one unperforated elastic, but firm and durable rubber body. When executing is not: Betall connected to metal. A padded connection made of non-metallic Fabric is switched on between the spring and the frame. Such a connection does not need lubrication. The wear is less than with metal on metal, and the cost of purchase is not higher than 1 egg metal while entertainment is considerably cheaper. The connection is completely silent. The ends of the feather Since they are both not held rigidly, they can both expand, what the spring effect is improved.
