Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a low-profile sliding marriage roof with a sliding block on in one Sunroof cassette arranged guide rails supported ten and via a lifting and lowering mechanism from one to Roof level aligned closing position optionally in one issued ventilation position or a lowered sliding position adjustable rigid roof cover, on the one hand a rela headlining and others that can be swiveled towards him on the one hand the gap between the rear part of the Under the vehicle roof and the rear edge of the roof cover fende, which can be moved at least together with the roof cover Gully is assigned and the rigid roof cover even through two interconnected half shells forms and umlau along the peripheral edge of the roof cover fend a fastening profile for one in the roof cover level arranged roof gasket is provided.
In modern automotive engineering, efforts are increasingly being made, on the one hand to reduce the driving resistance the total height of the Vehicle body to shrink more and more and others on the other hand, the weight of the vehicle is also reduced add to a cheaper weight / performance ratio to come and hand in hand with it the manufacturer lowering costs. The flattening of the leads Silouette of the vehicles naturally also to a verrin tion of the usable interior height of the vehicles, so that at Vehicles that are equipped with a sunroof should, increasingly, the demand for one if possible low installation height of the sunroof occurs. It a number of suggestions have therefore already been made been a more or less substantial verrin serve to reduce the installation height of sunroofs general, however, only individual sub-measures for Reduction of the overall height of a part of the sliding / tilting roof include and are therefore unsuitable for a crucial Reduction of the total installation height of the sliding / sunroof to enable. In addition, part of the be Proposals that have become known Manufacturing and assembly costs or just that Increase the weight of the sunroof considerably therefore, for these reasons, no satisfactory solution being able to lead. In particular, an intended one Height adjustment of either the sunroof cassette itself or the guide rails arranged therein an additional Liche drive and can with special designs of Guide rails or the cover or the lifting and lowering mechanism for the roof cover alone does not make a decision reduction in the total installation height can be achieved.
The invention is therefore based on the object of a low-rise building end sliding sunroof to create, which without raising the manufacturing and assembly costs and without disadvantageous Impairment of functioning compared to the known designs of sliding / tilting sunroofs are clearly reduced the required installation height.
This object is essentially achieved according to the invention solved that the sliding water channel by means of a Coupling, in particular a push rod with the lifting and lowering mechanism of the roof cover is coupled that them only when lowering the roof cover into his Sliding position is pushed back so far that it comes out of overlap with the rear edge of the roof cover. At the same time, it is also provided that at least the sliding block that supports the roof cover ne receiving guide rails, but especially the sunroof cassette receiving this in the direction of travel are curved following the curvature of the vehicle roof and further that the rigid roof cover made of two together a joint connection, in particular adhesive, connected Half-shells formed and with a first by a local filling cavities between the two half-shells Foaming formed and a second through along the rectilinear sections of the roof cover edge arranged reinforcement of the inner half-shell provided and that the two form the rigid roof cover Half shells with each other along the edges of the roof cover a C-shaped holding profile for the foot part one in the Form the roof profile level arranged hollow profile seal.
In conjunction with a contour in the direction of travel Roof curvature of the vehicle roof following training or Arrangement of the roof cover in the sunroof cassette guiding rails allows one when lowering of the roof cover with its rear edge out of overlap coming gully is already a considerable one Reduction of the installation height compared to the usual straight formation of the guide rails and one the rear edge of the roof cover remains underneath Gully, but offers the additional advantage that also the rear transverse edge of the rigid roof cover with a strip-shaped reinforcement can be provided, from which the roof cover results from two relatively formed flat half-shells and with an end circumferential roof cover seal can be provided so that also the formation of the roof cover and its seal despite adequate rigidity and secure sealing of the roof cover an additional reduction in Ensure the installation height of the sunroof. The particular This type of rigid roof cover also brings also a highly desirable reduction in weight of the sunroof with it.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention is also provided that the headlining of the roof cover due to a rigid, ver see plate formed and at the front by a transverse to Direction of travel can be swiveled on the roof cover articulated, and when in its closed position Roof cover at the rear by means of a, in particular as Wire spring clip designed, spring in one to the headliner the contour of the vehicle is kept in alignment. Here are the lifting and lowering mechanism of the roof cover Driver means provided that the headlining when adjusting the roof cover from its closed position fold out with its rear end to the roof cover.
Together with a slidable relative to the roof cover Arrangement of the gully is also provided that the roof frame reinforcement of the vehicle body the gap between the roof cover and the rear of the vehicle under the roof and at least partially as a gully with lateral connection to the drainage system of the Sunroof cassette is provided.
The inner shell of the roof cover is conveniently through a plastic molded part is formed and over the roof cover surface verses with a large number of cone-shaped elevations hen, over the end faces of them by a sheet metal mold partially formed outer shell of the roof cover. Out of it results in a first means of increasing stiffness of the roof cover. A second measure to increase the The stiffness of the roof cover is the intended Foaming between the inner and outer cover lids remaining cavities. A third measure to increase the rigidity of the roof cover is that at an inner shell formed as a molded plastic part those on the straight sections of the lid perimeter arranged strip-shaped reinforcements through material thickening of the inner cover shell are formed. In the way look at the intended height reduction of the sliding The roof comes with an absolutely rigid roof cover is of particular importance because its overall height otherwise an unacceptable loss stiffness and thus undesirable behavior of the sunroof while driving.
A, albeit slight, reduction in the overall height the sunroof can also be achieved by that the sunroof cassette, especially together with the guide rails for supporting the roof cover from the contour of the vehicle roof accordingly curved sections of an extruded profile formed is.
In their entirety, the aforementioned features enable a sunroof next to one, if not very much significant weight reduction a significant reduction the installation height of the sunroof, roughly in the order of magnitude 30% compared to conventional construction methods.

A cutout 1 in the roof skin 2 of a vehicle not shown in its entirety can be closed by means of a rigid roof cover 3 . The roof panel 3 is vorderendig via sliding blocks 4 and hinterendig via a hub-and lowering mechanism 5 in at a Schiebedachkas sette 6 arranged guide rails 7 supported and by means of the lifting and lowering mechanism 6 from a map shown in FIG. 1, closed position out optionally in an in Fig. 2 shown opening position can be raised or lowered into a sliding position shown in Fig. 3. As can be seen from FIGS . 1 to 3, the guide rails 7 or the sliding roof cassette are arched upward in the direction of travel in accordance with the contour of the vehicle roof. The gap 10 remaining between the rear edge 8 of the Dachaus section 1 and the rear edge 9 of the roof cover 3 is in the open or closed position of the roof cover 3 from a rails in the guide 7 slidably supported water channel 11 under handles. The gutter 11 is expediently formed by a plastic molding and connected to the lifting and lowering mechanism 6 of the roof cover 3 via a coupling 12 in such a way that, as can be seen from the illustration of FIGS. 3 and 4, when lowering the roof cover 3 over it rear edge 9 is also moved so far back that it reaches ge with the roof cover 3 out of overlap. As a result, the roof cover 3 can be lowered further or lower by the height of the drain 11 . A roof frame reinforcement 13 arranged in the area of the rear edge 8 of the roof cutout 1 of the vehicle roof is likewise formed by an extruded profile, in particular made of a plastic material, and provided with groove-shaped depressions 14 extending transversely to the direction of travel. The roof frame reinforcement 13 engages under the gap 10 between the rear edge 9 of the roof cover 3 and the rear edge 8 of the roof cutout 1 and acts when the water channel 11 is moved backwards as a water catcher and drainage device, for which purpose it is connected to drain connections not shown in the drawing the sliding roof cassette is connected. The roof cover 3 is formed from two half-shells 15 and 16 and is provided with a roof cover seal 17 arranged in its plane all around. The roof cover outer shell 15 is formed by a pressed sheet metal part with a longitudinally and transversely substantially U-shaped profile cross-section, while the inner cover shell 16 is formed by a molded plastic part and has a plurality of frustoconical increases 19 on the cover surface, over the end faces 20 of which they on Inner surface of the roof cover outer shell 15 abuts or is glued to it. The spaces remaining between the outer roof cover shell 15 and the inner roof cover shell 16 are filled with a foam 21 to stiffen the roof cover 3 . Along the peripheral edge of the roof panel 3 is formed by the edge shutdown 22 of the roof panel outer shell 15 and an upwardly directed peripheral ridge 23 of the roof panel inner shell 16 shown an approximately C-shaped retaining profile for the base portion 24 of a circumferentially arrange in the ceiling plane th roof cover seal 25, wherein the Dachdekel seal 25 has a base part 24 designed as a hollow profile and a sealing part 26 designed as a thin-walled hollow profile. To further stiffen the roof cover 3 is also provided with along its rectilinear ver running edge areas with strip-shaped reinforcements 27 which are formed by material thickening of the inner shell 16 when the roof cover inner shell is designed as a plastic molded part. In the area of the rounded corners 29 of the roof cover 3 , the strip-shaped reinforcements 27 are formed at a shallow angle into the plane of the roof cover lining, as is particularly evident from the illustrations in FIGS . 5 and 6. This ensures a deep lowering of the Dachdec angle 3 when adjusting to its sliding position. A roof lining 30 assigned to the roof cover 3 is formed by a plastic molding provided with a lamination on the underside and is provided all round with a circumferential bead-like reinforcement strip 31 pointing towards the roof cover 3 , the reinforcement strip 31 in the area of the front edge of the roof cover simultaneously serving as a joint connection 32 between the inner cover shell 16 and the headlining works. In its rear area the headlining 30 is held in the closed position of the roof cover by means of a spring 33 designed as a wire bow spring in an alignment with the general headliner contour. When the roof cover 3 is raised or lowered from its closed position, the roof lining 30 is folded into the roof cover shell 16 by means of a driver arrangement (not shown in the drawing) on the lifting and lowering mechanism 6 .
