Description

Holzscheider für elektrische Bleisammler. Die in elektrischen Bleisammlern vielfach verwendeten Holzscheider haben den Nachteil, daß ihre die positiven Platten berührenden Teile verhältnismäßig rasch zerstört werden infolge chemischer oder elektrolytischer Einwirkung auf die Bestandteile des Holzes. Man hat daher diese Berührung vermieden durch Zwischenschieben von Glasröhren, Gabeln oder gelochten Blechen aus Hartgummi u. dgl. zwischen die Holzscheider und die positiven Platten, mußte aber dabei die größere Umständlichkeit des Einbaues und die höheren Kosten der Anordnung in Kauf nehmen. Dies wird nach der Erfindung unter Verwendung von mit Rippen versehenen Holzscheidern dadurch vermieden, daß die die positiven Platten berührende Fläche der Rippen aus unangreifbaremStoff, wie vulkanisiertemGummi und ähnlichen Isoliermaterialien, besteht. Hierbei können entweder die den positiven Platten benachbarten Rippen vollständig aus solchem Stoff hergestellt sein, oder sie können aus Holz bestehen und nur mit einem dünnen Überzug des Stoffes versehen sein. Falls die Rippen vollständig aus Gummi bestehen sollen, wäre es naheliegend, sie nach dem in der Gummitechnik üblichen Verfahren durch Anpressen je eines Streifens unvulkanisierter Gummimischung auf die Holzfläche während des Erhitzens herzustellen. Dies müßte aber unter Benutzung von Formen geschehen, welche den Rippen entsprechende Aussparungen besitzen, da andernfalls die beim Vulkanisieren erweichenden Rippen sich breit drücken, einen zu großen Teil der Scheider bedecken und so deren elektrischen Leitungswiderstand in unzulässiger Weise erhöhen würden. Da die Benutzung derartiger Formen die Herstellung der Scheider kostspielig macht, ist es zweckmäßig, die Rippen vor dein Aufbringen ganz oder fast ganz zu vulkanisieren und mittels einer möglichst dünnen Schicht unvulkanisierter Gummimischung auf dem Scheider durch Vulkanisation dieser Schicht zu befestigen. Auf dieselbe Weise können selbstverständlich auch Rippen aus anderen geeigneten Stoffen, wie Bakelit oder ähnlichen Isolationsmaterialien, angebracht werden.
