Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Alkalisulfiden und -hydrosulfiden. Die Sulfide der Alkalien wurden bisher durch Reduktion der Sulfate oder durch die Einwirkung von Schwefel auf die Hydroxyde hergestellt, während die Hydrosulfide durch Behandeln der Hydroxyde oder Sulfide mit Schwefelwasserstoff erhalten wurden.Process for the production of alkali sulfides and hydrosulfides. the Sulphides of the alkalis were hitherto by reduction of the sulphates or by the action produced by sulfur on the hydroxides, while the hydrosulphides by treating the hydroxides or sulfides were obtained with hydrogen sulfide.

B. auf das Sulfat überhaupt nicht einwirkt, während die Reaktion beim Carbonat nur bis zur Bildung von Bicarbonat glatt verläuft, dieses aber wegen der Reziprozität der Kohlensäure und des Schwefelwasserstoffs nach dem Massenwirkungsgesetz nur mit einem Überschuß von Schwefelwasserstoff in das Sulfid bzw. das Hydrosulfid übergeführt werden kann.These sulfur compounds through the action of hydrogen sulfide to gain on the salts, was not acceptable, because this z. Das vorliegende Verfahren besteht darin, daß man Schwefelwasserstoff in Gegenwart der Oxyde oder der Hydroxyde der alkalischen Erden einschließlich der Magnesia auf die Alkalisulfate oder -carbonate einwirken läßt. Man wählt diejenige Erdalkaliverbindung, welche mit dem benutzten Alkallsalz eine unlösliche bzw. schwerlösliche Verbindung bildet. Man kann auf diese Weise den Prozeß je nach der Menge des Schwefelwasserstoffs entweder bis zum Sulfid oder bis zum Hydrosulfid durchführen, z. B. Nag C 03 + H2 S .-f- Ca (OH), - Nag S -f- 2 H2 O + Ca CO, Nag SO, + 2 H2 S -;- Ca O H - 2 Na S H + Ca SO, + H2 O.The present process consists in allowing hydrogen sulfide to act on the alkali sulfates or carbonates in the presence of the oxides or hydroxides of the alkaline earths, including magnesia.
