Es sind Sicherheitsvorrichtungen bei Lagern von umlaufenden Maschinenteilen bekannt geworden, bei welchen bei Cberschreitung einer gewissen Lagertemperatur infolge Schmelzens einesSchmelzstöpsels eine Anzeigevorrichtung ausgelöst wurde. Diese Vorrichtungen haben den Nachteil, daß sie die Gefahr erst anzeigen, wenn bei mangelhafter oder unterbrochener Ölzufuhr infolge der sich hierbei ergebenden Reibung sich in dem Lager bereits eine unzulässige hohe Temperatur eingestellt hat. Durch den Erfindungsgegenstand wird eine Einrichtung geschaffen, welche bereits beim Eintritt der halbtrockenen Reibung, die den Übergang der flüssigen zur trockenen Reibung darstellt, in Tätigkeit tritt. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die tragenden Teile des Lagers und die Welle an einen elektrischen Stromkreis angeschlossen sind, welcher bei normalem Betriebe durch die tragende Ölschicht zwischen Lager und `Felle unterbrochen, bei versiegender Ölzufuhr zum Lager jedoch infolge der dann zwischen Welle und Lagerfläche auftretenden metallischen Berührung geschlossen wird und alsdann eineAlarrrivorrichtung auslöst bzw. die -Maschine stillsetzt.Device to prevent overheating of lubricating bearings rotating 1 machine parts.
