Die Fig. 1 zeigt rechts zwei Treppenstufen 1 einer alten, reno vierungsbedürftigen Treppe. Die Treppenstufen 1 sind im linken Teil der Fig. 1 mit einer neuen Abdeckung versehen, die in an sich bekannter Weise jeweils eine Trittplatte 2, eine Stirnplatte 3 und ein Stellbrett 4 umfaßt. Die Platten 2, 3 und das Stellbrett 4 bestehen aus mehrschichtig verleimtem Hartholz mit versiegelter Holzoberfläche. Die Trittplatten 2 werden in bekannter Weise auf einer Unterfütterung, die auf die Treppenstufen 1 aufgebracht wird, angeordnet und aufgeklebt, wobei vorzugsweise ein Zweikomponenten kleber Anwendung findet.
