Abstract

The wall mounted furniture piece, consisting of a table (4) and a cupboard (3), can be adjusted for height. A mounting base plate (2) is fixed to the wall and its lower part is fitted with guide rails to receive the table legs (4a). Two guide plates (5) with oblique guide rails (9) are fitted to the upper part of the mounting base plate. The cupboard(s) fits between the guide plates and slides on the rails so that, as it moves downwards, it moves away from the wall. Both the table and cupboard can be driven by an electric motor so that their positions are easily adjusted, even by disabled persons.
