Abstract
The load regulator has a main feed line (2) contg. temp. and flow sensors (9,10) monitoring the temp. and air flow rate to control the quantity of fuel for maintaining the required fuel fair ratio. An auxiliary line (21) extends parallel to the main feed line (2) supplied with a constant fuel quantity at a given ratio to the fuel quantity supplied to the main feed line (2), with the same air ratio for the two lines (2,21). The auxiliary line (21) and its associated fuel line (23) are selecti vely brought into operation for stepped increase of the heating load. Pref. the auxiliary line (21) and its fuel line (23) each have a flow control (25,24) adjusted in dependence on the output of the fan controlling the air flow rate for the main line (2).
