A liq. mixt. is homogenised by an appts. consisting of a ring (3) with slots (4) which extend in the circumferential direction. A rotor (2) rotates inside this ring and has at least two radial blades. A second ring (5) with slots (6) is fitted outside the first one. The second ring can be moved axially w.r.t. to the first ring so that the effective width of the slots, measured in the direction of the axis of rotation (M), can be varied.
