Abstract

The invention relates to a device for comminuting in particular plant waste or other waste subject to rotting, having at least two conveying worms 16, 18, 19 rotatably mounted preferably in perpendicular housing walls 6, driven in opposite directions or having conveying threads 14 aligned in opposite directions, with longitudinal axes 20, 21 running in planes 12, 13 located on top of one another for the, preferably, multiple rolling of the material to be comminuted and with a comminuting unit having rotating comminuting tools 26.
