Gerät zur Regelung der Lichtmenge für Pflanzen, mit welchem die vom Tageslicht zugeführte Lichtmenge durch Assimilationslampen bis zu einem Sollwert erhöht wird, wobei durch Lichtfühler die insgesamt zugeführte Lichtmenge und Beleuchtungsstärke erfaßt und dem Gerät eingegeben werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
  • - daß die Assimilationslampen innerhalb eines durch eine Schaltuhr vorgegebenen Zeitraums und unterhalb einer vorgegebenen vom Tageslicht herrührenden Beleuchtungsstärke einschaltbar sind,
  • - daß als Sollwert die je Tag zuzuführende Lichtmenge vorgebbar ist und
  • - daß die Assimilationslampen bei Erreichen dieses Sollwertes oder am Ende des vorgegebenen Zeitraums abgeschaltet werden.
