Abstract

Positive displacement machines as internal combustion engines, comprising the compressor (1), the combustion chamber (9), the engine (2) and a variable-speed drive (13), inserted between compressor and engine, designed on a simple operating principle so that it can be used in place of piston engines or of gas turbines. Verdrängerkörpermaschine als Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit Kompressorteil, Impulsbrennkammer, Motorteil, Regelgetriebe und Prozeßrechnereinheit, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, daß der Kompressor (1) und Motor (2) aus bauartgleichen Bauteilen besteht, Kugelschalenabschnitte (3), von einer wendelförmigen Welle (4) mit links- und rechtsgän­ giger Steigung durchdrungen werden, Kugelschalenabschnitte in verzahnungsähnliche Vertiefungen (5) des Gehäuses (6) ein­ greifen, die Abdichtung der Kugelschalenabschnitte unterein­ ander mit Dichtringen (7) erfolgt, die Kugelschalenabschnitte mit dem Gehäuse vier kugelkeilförmige, wellenartige Arbeits­ räume (8) bilden, den Baugruppen, dem Kompressor und dem Motor, eine Brennkammer (9) zugeordnet ist, die mit Tangentialbohrungen (10) bzw.
