Diese Verstärkungsschicht wird ,gewöhnlich in Gestalt einer Em:ulsion von wolframsaurem Kalk in Zelluloid-, Kollodiumlösung u. dgl. angewendet. Um :diese Schicht nachträglich abzulölsen, werden Lösungsmittel für Zelluloid, wie Azeton, Ätheralkohol u. dgl., verwendet. Diese Arbeitsweise bietet jedoch wesentliche Nachteile. Man muß mit stark flüchtigen und kostspidligen Lösungsmitteln arbeiten, welche außerdem ein starkes D:urchdringungsvermögen besitzen.
