in the following way:

dern wied, to an im. Boiler arranged

voltage divider acts.
The way of regulation is explained on the basis of the schematic illustration. The electric electrode connected to a mains pole is insulated in the boiler a. This is surrounded by an insulating cylinder c, which is carried by the float d guided on the boiler wall. In the lower part of the boiler, a hollow cylindrical intermediate electrode c is attached to insulators, which, with its upper edge @ et, # above all extends to the highest level 'of the lower edge of the insulating cylinder c and at the bottom almost to the base of the boiler. The electric drive motor g of the feed pump f is electrically connected to it, the other pole of which, as well as the other network pole and the boiler wall, are connected to earth. The motor g, which is a collector motor, is therefore connected to a part of the water resistance located between electrode b and boiler wall a and runs at a speed that corresponds to the voltage drop in part ea of the water resistance ba.
If the steam extraction rises from: the boiler at h, it falls
Pressure in the boiler, the feed pump f, g runs faster and delivers more water, see above
that the float d with the attached: insulating cylinder c rises; the water resistance
decreases, the current becomes bigger and! the tension between i c and a increases, whereby
the pump motor g runs faster again. More water is then pumped for as long as
until the steam extraction e "decreases and the counter pressure in the boiler decreases the pump output
pushes down. In this way, the water supply adjusts itself automatically
the steam consumption. In order to arbitrarily influence the pump performance from the outside
to be able to, you can set a manually adjustable variable resistor in the motor circuit
or install a control valve in the feed line of the boiler or both organs
at the same time, by means of which the correct cooperation of Kes, s: el
and pump: can be set for automatic operation.

In order to allow water to pass through, it can be provided with openings and
