Process for the production of planographic printing plates. In the patents 250203, 2507o6, 2562o2, 266792, 2922o8, 353o61 and 375464 a method is described in which by the interaction of an alkaline ink with a liquid that contains alum or other aluminum salts in addition to other substances on an inert, rigid surface latent lettering is obtained which, in contrast to the other places on the inert plate, is capable of accepting fat colors, in particular for fat colors containing glycerine.
soll im folgenden an einzelnen Beispielen .erläutert werden: B e i s p s e 1 i.
Man nimmt z.
It has now been found that these take on too latent, fat colors
Lettering or picture elements leading reaction occurs quite generally when the
Preparation is carried out on the plate using solutions of such metal salts,
those with alkalis, especially with ammonia or other as an ink component too
using insoluble oxides or hydroxides or other compounds. It
was z. B. found that such latent. Bold lettering
be obtained if the preparation of the plate with food salts, esp-eso: change
Iron oxide salts, with zinc salts, copper salts, silver salts, tin salts etc. happens.
There is always the difference in behavior between those through contact
of the original produced in the precipitating ink with the plate created writing or.
Image elements compared to the other parts of the plate. But it was further found
that this reaction can also be carried out if, instead of the inert plate,
the z. B. consists of frosted glass, plates made of such metals are used
Salts, as just described, result in the reaction with the precipitating ink. It is
then it is necessary to prepare the plate in such a way that a very fine immeasurable
Forms a layer of the salt suitable for precipitation by the ink. This method
is to be explained in the following using individual examples: B e i s p s e 1 i.
One takes z. B. an aluminum plate and cover it with a liquid,
which is a very dilute hydrochloric acid, with that from the older patents
known additives can also be present. You rub with this liquid
the plate., dry it as much as possible and then put it with alkaline,
z. B. ammoniacal ink on the original described. After taking off then
in a known manner the plate is rolled or rubbed with fat paints, which
just as, according to the older patents, substances such as glycerine can be added.
The plate prepared in this way then prints as is known for the inert glass plate
-is.
B e i s p i t 1 2.
A sufficiently silver-plated plate, for example
made of brass or copper, is dried with a preparation liquid
grated, which contains nitric acid in strong dilution. .With this plate lets
print in a known manner after contact with the original.
B e i s p i e 1 3.
in Kontakt gebracht.
Schriftzüge in druckfähiger Form erscheinen.Example 1 3. A sanded and matted plate if possible
Pure iron is rubbed in and dry with a liquid that
one
contains a low concentration of hydrochloric or sulfuric acid and some nitric acid,
and then in a known manner with the original written in alkaline ink
brought in contact. This plate also leaves the latent ones when rolled in with fat paint
Lettering appears in printable form.
