Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gelenkwellen. Die Gelenkwellen aus aneinandergelenkten Gliedern sind derart zusammengesetzt, daß das eine Glied in einen Einschnitt des benachbarten Gliedes eingreift und durch einen Querstift gehalten wird. Damit nun die genügende Beweglichkeit in der Ebene des Querstiftes und des Gliedes gewahrt bleibt, muß der Einschnitt breiter sein als das in ihm steckende Wellenglied. Durch .dieses Erfordernis entsteht aber der Nachteil, daß auch Spiel zwischen beiden Gliedern in der Drehrichtung vorhanden ist, was für solche Wellen, die nicht dauernd gleichförmig sich drehen, insofern mangelhaft ist, weil dann das .große Gesamtspiel der Wellen in der Drehrichtung zu stoßweisem Arbeiten der Welle Anlaß gibt. Aus diesem Grande hat man den Einschnitt in den Wellengliedern nach außen und innen vom Querstift aus über die der .Dicke ,des benachbarten Gliedes entsprechende Breite erweitert, um die Biegsamkeit der Welle voll zu erhalten, das Spiel in der Drehrichtung aber zu verhindern. Die Herstellung dieses Einschnittes erfolgte bisher durch zweimaliges Fräsen, was aber sehr umständlich und teuer ist.
