Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tempera- und Aquarellfarben, wobei zur Herstellung des Bindemittels Glykol statt Wasser verwendet wird.Process for the production of a binder for tempera and watercolor paints. Bei der bisherigen Herstellung von Aquarell- und- Temperafarben wurde stets Wasser als Lösungsmittel für die verwendeten Klebe-,mittel, z. B. Gummi arahicum, Eigelb, Kasein u@sw., benutzt. Die Folge .hiervon war, daß die Farben in den Tuben eintrockneten (das Wasser verdunstete) oder die Bindemittel, Eigelb usw., verfaulten. Das Glykol (äthylenglykol) verhindert das Faulwerden und Eintrocknen, @da es sehr antiseptisch wirkt und ihygroskopisch ist. Beispiel. I ioo g Kaseln werden in 300 g Glykol aufgelöst, durch Zusatz von einem geeigneten Alkali, wie kohlensaures Ammoniak natrium oder Kalilange, geht die Lösung rascher vor sich. Ein entsprechender Zusatz von 1Vlohnöl oder Leinöl wird mit dieser Lösung emulgiert. Auch Harz und Wachslösungen sind verwendbar.. Diese Tempera wird dann auf bekannte Weise mit den Farbpigmenten zusammen verrieben und gibt eine angenehme geschmeidige und haltbare Temperafarbe.
