Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for generating artificial, non-toxic fog clouds in the field.
To generate fog in the terrain are predominant Mist oils and diesel oil burned and the forming Blown away smoke. Such oil mists are from environmental protection found undesirable. Especially with military ones A non-toxic "exercise mist" is desired for exercises.
The invention has for its object a device for With the creation of artificial fog clouds create a non-toxic, ecologically compatible fog is bar, the device should be so cheap that its return and reuse are not worthwhile.
The object is achieved in that on a pallet two chemical containers that make up a two- Component mist, and a spreading system for the fog including the necessary pressure generating and the amount of chemical control agents in total are arranged in a precise manner. Very particularly preferred it is when the containers for the chemicals are for the chemicals are common delivery containers.
In the device according to the invention, no se separate tanks or a heater is required. It only the serial barrels for the two rivers mist components supported on a pallet sets. It makes building it so easy and cheap, that the return, cleaning and replenishment on would be more maneuverable than the production of this disposable item.
The simple handling of the is particularly advantageous Pallet, the cheap application of such devices in the field, the very short commissioning times, the rapid fog formation and switch-off (an In operation is possible again at any time).
Preferred components for generating the Ne cloud silicon tetrachloride and (an aqueous solution of) ammonia. These incombustible components are quantitatively without uncontrollable reaction pro products or combustion residues implemented. The fog is white, non-toxic and chemically neutral.
A preferred delivery system includes a blower, in the air flow of the two components through atomization exercise can be introduced. The introduction of liquids in an air stream by atomization is known per se. In the device according to the invention is normal no additional conveyor for the chemicals of the fog components required because of the liquid transport through case funding can take place if the Liquid container above the atomizer are attached.
This does not rule out that funding for Chemi kalien by pumping can be useful to independent from the altitude of the place where the chemicals are be atomized in the air stream. When pumping the Chemicals provide an easy way to regulate. With flows over 10 l / min a flow rate should be regulation to be in place.
Another preferred application system contains two Pressure pumps and a nozzle system. The nozzle system be stands for everyone from nearby nozzles Component; with such "double nozzles" forms on lightest a cloud of fog. The funding relationship the two pumps are permanently set; however is mostly also the possibility provided the quantities ratio of the two chemical flows on site something to change. This spreading system is special easy to adapt to different tasks. It is suitable especially for large area nebulization, fog gave in the pioneer area, nebulizations in the marine area, as object protection and as a training device for fire smoke position.
Es zeigtThe invention is shown in the drawing and knows ter described as an example. It shows

Fig. 2 Nebelkopf; Fig. 2 fog head;
Fig. 3 Nebelplattform mit Doppeldüsensystem. Fig. 3 fog platform with double nozzle system.
The fog is generated in the two exemplary devices according to FIGS . 1 and 3 from silicon tetrachloride and ammonia. Silicon tetrachloride is a bad mist generator in its own right, but in conjunction with ammonia it is at least equal to the well-known good one-component nebulae (titanium tetrachloride, phosphorus mist, oil mist).
Vereinfacht verläuft die Nebelbildung nach den Umsatz formelnIn a simplified manner, the fog formation runs according to sales formulas
SiCl4 + 2H2O → SiO2 + 4HCl
NH4OH + HCl → NH4Cl + H2O.SiCl 4 + 2H 2 O → SiO 2 + 4HCl
NH 4 OH + HCl → NH 4 Cl + H 2 O.
Der künstliche Nebel ist toxikologisch unbedenklich. The artificial fog is toxicologically harmless.
Ammoniak wird bevorzugt als wäßrige Lösung eingesetzt. 4 Mol NH3 neutralisieren 1 Mol SiCl4, d. h. 68,12 g Am moniak neutralisieren 169,9 g SiCl4. Bei Verwendung ei ner 25%igen wäßrigen Ammoniaklösung ist das Neutralisa tionsgleichgewicht bei einem Verhältnis 1,6 zu 1 NH3 zu SiCl4 erreicht, oder volumenmäßig ausgedrückt, 2,61 l NH3 neutralisieren 1 l SiCl4.Ammonia is preferably used as an aqueous solution. 4 moles of NH 3 neutralize 1 mole of SiCl 4 , ie 68.12 g of ammonia neutralize 169.9 g of SiCl 4 . When using a 25% aqueous ammonia solution, the neutralization equilibrium is reached at a ratio of 1.6 to 1 NH 3 to SiCl 4 , or in terms of volume, 2.61 l of NH 3 neutralize 1 l of SiCl 4 .
On a plate 1 are the two transport drums 2, 3 , the SiCl 4 and an aqueous (25%) NH 3 solution. A blower 5 driven by a gasoline engine 4 generates an air flow in the tube 6 . Electric and compressed air motors can also be used as drives. The tube 6 carries at its end a fog head 7 in which the two fog components 2, 3 are atomized. As long as the head 7 is correspondingly deep, no pump is neces sary to promote the components to the fog head via the lines 8, 9 , where they are atomized in a known manner due to the high kinetic energy of the air flow. After switching on the motor 4 and opening the two taps 10, 11 ( 11 not visible in FIG. 1), strong white, non-toxic fog emerges from the fog head 7 immediately.
The fog head 7 is shown in FIG. 2 enlarged Darge. The air flow coming out of the pipe 6 at a speed of 100 m / s is divided and emerges from the two pipe elbows 12, 13 in such a way that a mixing 16 from the two partial flows 14, 15 occurs largely within 5 m. This shape of the fog head 7 is chosen because it is easy to control and (with the valves 10, 11 ) regulate the atomization of the two components that flow from the lines 8, 9 . Other shapes of the fog head 7 are also possible.
Another embodiment of the device according to the invention for generating artificial fog clouds from two components is shown in FIG. 3. Here too, the delivery drums 2, 3 lie on a standard pallet 1 . For the sake of better stackability, bars 16 running cross-wise from corner to corner are attached. Instead of a compressor for generating an air flow, there are two interconnected pumps 17 which are driven by an electric or gasoline engine 18 . The two pumps 17 press the two Nebelkom components (approx. 10 bar) into a nozzle system that can be rolled out (or can also be very easily plugged together). The plastic tubes 19 contain several nozzles 20 . The cross sections of the lines and the performance of the pump 17 are designed so that the delivered amounts correspond to the stoichiometric ratios of the compo nents, so that practically after switching on the motor 18 and opening the taps 10, 11, an optimal nebulization is used immediately.
