Weitere wesentliche Vorteile der erfindungsgemäßen Metallkörper sind hohe Verschleißbeständigkeit gegen Abrasion und Erosion, hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit, gute chemische Bestän digkeit und Temperaturbeständigkeit, geringe Kaltschweißneigung, geringe Reibung, hohe Standheit bei mechanischer Bearbeitung und geringe Kolkver schleißbildung.This object is achieved by the invention characterized in claim 1 solved. Die Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Metallkörper erfolgt zweckmäßig in der Weise, daß der Körper auf eine Temperatur bis zu 500°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 380°C und 450°C vorgewärmt und danach das Titan nitrid aufgedampft wird. Hierbei wird eine gute Haftung der Beschichtung auf dem Metallkörper durch (partielles) Eindiffundieren in den Körper erzielt, wobei sehr enge Toleranzen - was etwa bei der Beschichtung von Rasterwalzen für den Fexodruck bedeutsam ist - eingehalten werden können aufgrund des Umstandes, daß die Beschichtungstemperatur unterhalb der Anlaßtemperatur der zum Einsatz kommenden Stähle liegt.The metal bodies according to the invention are expediently produced in such a way that the body reaches a temperature of up to 500 ° C, preferably preheated between 380 ° C and 450 ° C and then the titanium nitride is evaporated.
