Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Versteifungsstäben für Kleidungsstücke, insbesondere für Korsette. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Versteifungsstäben für Kleidungsstücke, insbesondere für Korsette. Es ist bekannt, derartige Versteifungsstäbe aus Hartgummi herzustellen, dem gegebenenfalls Fasermaterial beigemischt ist. Der Erfindung gemäß wird eine Einlage aus Baumwollzwirn o. dgl. mit zähharter Gummimasse getränkt, belegt, anvulkanisiert, sodann mit Weichgummi überzogen und fertig vulkanisiert. Durch ein derartiges Verfahren wird ein außerordentlich elastischer, haltbarer Einlagestab erzielt, der infolge des Weichgummiüberzuges nicht wie bekannte Einlagen geneigt ist, die übliche Stoffumhüllung zu verletzen, und der auch im Tragen bedeutend angenehmer ist. Der Weichgummiüberzug wird derart vorteilhaft gestaltet, daß er die Faserstoffeinlage an den Enden überragt, so daß die Enden selbst verhältnismäßig weich bleiben und eine Beschädigung des Kleidungsstückes verhütet wird.Process for the manufacture of stiffening rods for garments, especially for corsets.
