Description

Mit Gas beheizter Gießtopf für Setzmaschinen u. dgl. Durch die vorliegende Erfindung wird .der Gegenstand des Patentes 371031 dadurch weiter ausgebildet, daß die Heizkörper in besonderen Taschen des Gießtopfes untergebracht werden. Diese Taschen ragen in das Innere des Gießtopfes hinein und werden von dem flüssigen Metall umspült, so daß nur der eigentliche Heizkörper, der in der Tasche steckt, beim Auswechseln herausgenommen wird. Das hat den Vorteil, dalB die Auswechslung des Heizkörpers bzw. überhaupt das Einsetzen desselben auch dann vorgenommen werden kann, wenn das -Bad erstarrt ist, im, Gegensatz zu anderen Ausführungsformen, bei denen der Heizkörper im Tiegel verbleibt und bei der Erstarrung mit dem Letternmetall zu einer Masse zusammenschmilzt. In den Taschen a sitzen -die Heizkörper b, und .zwar auswechselbar, so daß man sie, wenn der Topf durch andere Wärmequellen, wie Gas USW., geheizt wird, herausnehmen kann. Die Taschen a ragen in. das Innere des Tiegels hinein und werden von dem Letternmetall von allen Seiten umspült, so daB die Wärmeübertragung vollkommen ist. Auch für den auf dem Ausguß liegenden Heizkörper ist, wie Abb. 3 zeigt, eine Tasche d vorgesehen. Die Zuleitungsdrähte zu den Heizkörpern sind mit c bezeichnet und, gehen nach oben aus den Taschen !a heraus.
