Process for the production of the dental mold plates for molding artificial ones
Teeth. . As is well known, the shaping of artificial teeth is done with the help of special mold plates,
which, depending on the type of teeth in question, are one-part or two-part and which are one
larger number of cavities corresponding to the shape of the tooth in one or in two
Own ranks. The mass for the artificial teeth is pressed into these cavities,
and after shaping in this way, the teeth are burned. The production of the
Tooth mold plates were now generally done by engraving. That is of course a
extremely expensive, cumbersome and time-consuming process. You have the same thing then
Tries to shorten it by inserting suitably shaped hardened steel punches into the
Tooth mold plates made of softer metal are hammered in or pressed in
Has. Here, however, there was the disadvantage that once the upper edges of the
Holes were not sharp, but round, which is why one. forced
was
to knock in the cavity correspondingly deeper and then the upper surface of the plate
straight to plane. In addition, it was still necessary to redo every single cavity
especially to rework what could only be done by engraving.
According to the present invention, a substantial simplification is now intended here
and cheaper production process can be achieved, and that happens
in that a patrix is produced which contains all of the '.Matrize
To be molded tooth forms made of hardened steel carries, and that the stamp formed in this way
is pressed into the soft mold plate by a pressure such that in the latter
all cavities that are to be used to shape the teeth are formed at the same time,
and in such perfection that any reworking is superfluous. If so
the material of the tooth mold plate is sufficiently soft and plastic that it makes the impressions
would accommodate the hardened tooth stamp, it would not be easy
take place in the desired and required perfection. About this perfection
and in particular to achieve good, sharp edges, as they are absolutely necessary
are, the mold plate is not straight, but so curved on its upper surface
kept that the middle tooth-stamp, sitting on the patrix, is at the companionway
first press it into the material, whereby the material displaced here to the side
evades and thereby to a certain extent the outer tooth form punches under the pressure of the press
swells in the opposite direction, so that then this too is perfectly sharp up to the upper edge
be pronounced.
Oberteil a, b fest verbunden sind.
Patrize a, b, d
The new process is illustrated schematically in the attached drawing. One recognizes from Fig. I in longitudinal section the male part a, which is provided with a pin b for insertion in the press and which is composed in such a way that the hardened tooth-forming punch c is first riveted into a plate d and together with this by screws or other means any way with the upper part a, b are firmly connected. The lower part consists of a sturdy frame e, velcher is placed on or in a base plate f and which fits exactly to the punch a, b, d. The surface of the latter is, as can be seen in Fig. 1, slightly rounded, either only in the longitudinal direction or also as a whole according to a spherical surface. As a result, when the male die a, b, d descends, the middle tooth-forming punches c first come into contact, press in sharply, and the material they displace presses to the sides. Since it cannot move laterally due to being surrounded by the frame e, the material swells accordingly around the center, so that it swells towards the more outwardly located tooth-forming stamps c, which of course also press in as the pressing continues, whereby these also swell be embossed with absolutely sharp edges.
herstellen, welche alle ohne weiteres, also ohne jede Nacharbeit unmittelbar zum
alsdann in bekannter Weise zusammengepaßt.
With the help of this process, you can create as many tooth mold plates as you want
produce which all without further ado, i.e. without any rework, directly to the
Shapes of the artificial teeth are ready. Since these tooth mold plates are in use,
especially at the edges., if worn heavily, it is easy to use them again
to do by simply putting them back in the press and repressing them. With two-part
Tooth mold plates, both plate parts are manufactured in the same `` '' way and
then matched in a known manner. In the drawing, Fig. 2 shows the formation
of the tooth mold plate at the decline of the punch and Fig. 3 is a lower view of the
Stamp with the hardened tooth form stamps used.
The curvature of the surface of the tooth mold plate aligns before pressing
depends very much on the plasticity of the material and the available pressure. The bigger
both are, the less the curvature needs to be, and the plate can almost
be perfectly straight when very high pressures can be applied.
