Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connection between the shrinkable and expandable logs one out individual, logs arranged horizontally one above the other built log house and the one deviating from it Components having shrink and expandability the log house, especially not shrink and expandable prefabricated walls, doors and windows.
The logs of log houses are subject to the changing humidity and temperature of them around giving atmosphere continuously shrinking or expiring stretching process. In the summer, during the hot dry Period dries out the wood, it both shrinks lengthways as well as crossways, in winter it expands again during the cold humid period out. Shrinkage is of particular importance process of logs immediately after the production of the Log house, due to lack of storage capacity and out For reasons of cost, logs are formed Tree houses usually pretty soon after hitting of the trunks built so that the trunks of the one already made Tree house initially shrink. Significant is in particular the shrinkage of the trunks in Transverse direction, from the cut trunk to the dry strain is approximately 6%. Due to the shrink and Expandability of the logs gives rise to problems for example when using such components when building a house that has a different shrink and out have elasticity or do not shrink at all or expand like prefabricated walls, windows and doors. If no special precautions are taken, the Shrinking or expansion of the tree trunks increased Tensions on the components and can be the worst Lead to their destruction.
It is an object of the present invention, a stress-free Connection between the shrinkable and expandable Logs from a log house and one of them softening shrinkage and expandability To create components of the log house.
The task is solved in that in the end faces of the logs that have a different shrink and Absorbing constituent parts, vertical grooves are introduced and on the have a different shrinkage and expandability Components according to vertical connection elements fastened with webs engaging in the grooves are.
By designing the connection according to the invention it is guaranteed that in the event of a shrinkage or off stretching the logs in the transverse direction, the bars in the longitudinal direction Extension of the grooves are shifted. At a Shrinkage or expansion of the logs in the longitudinal direction on the other hand, the webs step out of the groove accordingly out or into this one. The same applies if not only the logs but also the other components the log house has a shrinking or stretching capacity own, which differs from that of the logs, in this Case, the movement components of the wood overlap trunks and the other components of the log house. It is essential that the dimensions of the webs and grooves must be coordinated so that both at maximum and even with minimal relative movement of the logs and the other parts of the log house the intervention of the Webs in the grooves is guaranteed. It is not required that the webs continuously in the longitudinal direction run in order to achieve the effect according to the invention, the webs can be reduced so far that they are in the essentially designed as a spaced pin are that protrude into the corresponding grooves. It must just be sure that the fasteners a shrinkage or expansion of the logs both in Allow in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction while doing so the groove flanks bear against the connecting elements. It is also within the meaning of the invention, the connection elements to attach to the logs and the grooves in which the different shrinkage and expandability own parts of the log house. However, the latter is disadvantageous in that the Connection elements usually none or only one subject to low shrinkage and expandability and thus additional problems when fastening the connection elements on the shrinkable and expandable logs would arise. To ensure optimal strength of the connection between the logs and the other components to ensure the log house, the ver binding elements made of metal, in the event that a certain shrinkage also in the connecting elements and assuming expandability, these should made of wood.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention provided that the connecting elements as angle iron are formed, one leg from one softening shrinkage and expandability Component is attached and its representing the web other leg engages in the groove.
When joining the logs with a not shrink and stretchable part of the house, in particular a wall should be a vertical one Intermediate beam to be attached to which in the groove engaging connecting element is attached.
To further improve the storage of the log, it is envisaged that a different shrinkage and Elastic component has a vertical ver has running recess in which the recess is fitted web-shaped ends of the tree trunks are guided, the grooves being introduced into the free ends of the webs are and with the bottom of the recess the connection element is attached.
1 and 2, the invention is illustrated with reference to two applications, for example:
Fig. 1 zeigt eine Explosionsdarstellung eines Baumstammhauses im Bereich einer Fensteröffnung zur Verdeutlichung der Anordnung eines Fensterrahmens in der Fensteröffnung, wobei nur der untere Eckbereich der Öffnung und des Rahmens dargestellt ist und Fig. 1 shows an exploded view of a log house in the area of a window opening to illustrate the arrangement of a window frame in the window opening, only the lower corner area of the opening and the frame is shown and
Fig. 2 is a schematic view of a Ver connection of a log with a wall when using an intermediate beam.
Fig. 1 shows horizontally stacked logs 1 to form a wall of a tree trunk house not shown Darge. A window opening 2 is cut into the tree trunks arranged one above the other, which is formed by a lower surface 3 running approximately in the middle of a trunk 1 , an upper surface (also not shown in detail) running in the middle of a trunk, and lateral surfaces 4 , of which only the Right is shown. The lateral surface 4 consists of the stump surfaces 5 of the tree trunks 1 arranged one above the other in a plane, and the lateral surface (not shown in detail ) opposite this lateral surface 4 is designed accordingly.
With the reference numeral 6 , the window frame is only partially shown, on which the lower surface 3 having trunk 1 , two window sills 7 are arranged, which accommodate the lower frame part 8 of the window frame 6 between them. The frame part 8 as well as the further frame parts of the window to be described later have a known stair-shaped cross section for receiving the corresponding cross section, which is not shown in detail. The flush to the conical surfaces 5 strains 1 have each conical surface 5, a perpendicular extending over the entire height of the window groove 9, which is cut perpendicularly in the strains. 1 An L-shaped angle iron 12 is used to connect the lateral surface 4 of the log house to the side window frame part 11 fastened with a screed 10 . The depth of the groove 9 is greater than the width of the leg 13 of the angle iron 12 , so that the leg 13 protrudes more or less into the groove 9 depending on the expansion or shrinkage of the logs 1 . The thickness of the groove 9 is slightly larger than the thickness of the leg 13 of the angle iron 12 inserted into the groove 9 , so that the angle iron 12 can slide in the groove 9 . The length of the angle iron 12 is smaller than the length of the groove 9 in accordance with the expected shrinkage or expansion of the logs 1 in the transverse direction. The screed 10 is fastened to the leg 14 of the angle iron 12 which is not inserted into the groove 9 by means of a plurality of screws 15 , and fastening means (not shown in more detail) for connecting the side window frame part 11 to the screed 10 are also provided. The ver remaining gap between the screed 10 and the stump surfaces 5 of the logs 1 is sealed at the side of the angle iron 12 by rubber seals, not shown. With the outside and inside of the log house facing end faces of the screed 10 sliding boards 16 are connected, which cover the space between the screed 10 and the logs 1 and the sides worked as a flat surface of the logs 1 .
Fig. 2 shows a plan view of a wall 17 shown in part , in particular a fire protection wall. With the wall 17 , a vertical intermediate beam 18 is fastened by means of screw-nut connections 19 , the intermediate beam 18 has a vertical groove 20 , in which an L-shaped angle iron 12 is arranged in accordance with the embodiment according to FIG. 1. The leg 14 of the angle iron 12 is fastened in the groove base 23 with fastening elements, not shown, the leg 13 extends perpendicular to the groove base 23 . Arranged one above the other are a number of wooden trunks 1 which together form a wall of the log house, each trunk has a peg-shaped extension 21 adjacent to the angle iron 12 , with a groove 22 made in the end face facing the angle iron 12 . The dimensions of leg 13 and groove 22 are selected in accordance with those of leg 13 and groove 9 according to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, so that when the logs 1 expand or shrink in the transverse direction, they can slide freely in the longitudinal direction of the angle iron 12 , on the other hand, when the logs shrink or expand in the longitudinal direction, the leg 13 continues to emerge from the groove or is immersed therein. The thickness of the groove 20 is slightly larger than that of the approach 21 , it is hereby an additional lateral guidance of the approach 21 in the groove 20 ensures.
