Abstract

A domestic washing machine has a suds container which is suspended from springs and rests on spring legs . The drum (not shown) inside the container is driven by a motor and V-belt , fixed on the crosspiece of a carrier spider. The drum drive shaft passes through a central hole of the spider and is fixed to the pulley (16). The spider has four arms, two of which are joined by the crosspiece , reinforced by a rib.
