Abstract

The dial has a central section (3) stepped inwards from the outer dial ring (4), with an intermediate wall (9) between the stepped edges (8) of the latter and the central section. This intermediate wall (9) may have four diametrically opposed slots for locating the stepped edge (8) of the dial ring (4). Pref. the visible surface of the intermediate wall (9) lying between the dial ring (4) and the central section (3) is at an angle of between 90 and 180 deg. to the surface of the latter. The outer edge of the dial ring (4) is pref. snap-fitted to the timepiece housing (2).
