Die aufzupflügende Kartoffelreihe wird zunächst durch eine der Reihe angepafste Walze W,

dessen Stützschiene s auf einem Schüttelwerk a d aufliegt, durch letzteres geschüttelt wird-und
die über den Rost gleitenden Kartoffeln vom anhaftenden Erdreich reinigt. Die Elevatorketten
ρ sind abwechselnd durch Querschienen q, in welchen Zinken Z befestigt sind, mit einander
verbunden und laufen zu beiden Seiten des Rostes auf Kettenrollen r, Fig. 3 und 4.
Der Elevator und das Schüttelwerk werden durch Stirnräder 51 bewegt. Fahrrad F bewegt
Achse A,- während Fahrrad F1 sich lose auf der Achse A dreht. Beide Fahrräder sind
