Description

Process for the production of dense, strong papers. Addendum to patent 303498. The subject of patent 303498 is a process for the production of dense and strong papers by incorporating pulp slime into the pulp. It has now been found that one can achieve an even better seal and strength and a very considerable strength of glue if other colloids are added to the colloidal pulp slime; So-called "protective colloids" are added, which help to maintain the state of slime and its attachment in and on the paper fibers. As such protective colloids, all plant mucilages, Karragheena boiling, z. B. tragacanth, starch paste, norgine, animal glue, casein and the like. Of inorganic colloids, alumina hydrate is particularly suitable, as it can be generated, for example, by interaction between the pulp slime and alumina sulfate solution.

B e i s p i e 1. Example 1. The one pretreated with acid and ground into slime Cellulose is intimately mixed with cellulose fibers and then alumina sulfate solution, about 5 parts to zoo parts of S, added the sludge pulp mixture while stirring, whereupon a longer, about 1/4 to 1/2 hour, thorough mixing is to be carried out Has.

Norgine, Tierlein;, Kasein oder Tonerdehydrat zusetzt.PATENT CLAIM A process for the production of dense, firm papers according to patent 303498, characterized in that the pulp is simultaneously with the slimy or slime-forming substances that are made from chemically acid-pretreated waste material (waste paper, cellulose waste, wood waste) by briefly grinding the same into a Dutchman, or afterwards organic or angorganic colloids, for example starch paste. Norgine, little animals; casein or alumina hydrate added.
