follow if the rope 3 is to be pulled down. The rope 3 is wound around a pulley 29 and the loose end of the rope is loaded with a log weight. The solenoid itself operates an idler pulley 31 (Fig. 5) by tensioning a belt thereby causing the pulley 30 to be driven by the pulley 32. This belt pulley 32 sits, together with the other disks 33 and 34 intended for further bells, on a countershaft with a drive pulley 36. The belt pulley 36 receives its drive from the motor pulley 35 of a motor 37.
Der Strom geht dann durch Kontakt io, 8, Leitung i i, Schalter 18,
The mode of operation of this arrangement is as follows: If the bell i is to be set in motion, the back gear with the pulleys 32, 33 and 34 is put into operation by the motor 37. The contact 21 of the switch i9 is then moved to 2o, the solenoid 39 being energized by the current source 22. The current emanates from the positive side of the source 22, through line 27, switch i9, line 16, a switch 18, line 17, solenoid 39, line 28 to the negative side of the source 22. Here, the solenoid 39 has been energized and the tension pulley 31 has tensioned the belt i io, the pulley 30 and pulley 29 being rotated so that the rope is pulled. After this movement takes place and the bell i is set into a first oscillation, the switch i9 is opened. At the same time as the switch i9 was switched on, the switch 18 was switched on, namely contact 15 was set to 14. At the moment when the bell i swings back so that the rope goes upwards, the contact 9 rests against the contact 7, which is shown in FIGS. However, since the contact at 13 is interrupted, the connection of 7 and 9 does not create a power connection. A renewed excitation of the solenoid 39 now occurs when the bell swings back again and the contact io rests on the contact 8, as shown in FIG. In this case the current goes from the positive pole of the current source 22 to line 26, from here through 23, 24, with the aid of the metal sleeve 5. The current then goes through contact io, 8, line ii, switch 18, line 17, solenoid 39 and line 28 back to the negative pole of 22. The solenoid 39 is de-energized again as soon as the two isolated ring halves 23 and 24 leave the metal sleeve 5 and slide over the insulating body 4, see Fig. 2. As soon as the bell i reverses and that If rope 3 pulls upwards, the isolated ring halves 23, 24 are dragged upwards by friction and contact 9 hits contact 7 again. Now, however, the current to solenoid 39 is again interrupted at 13, 14, the salenoid does no work So the tension pulley 31 is not tightened, the belt is iio as a result: read and the bell i receives no impulse when the rope goes up. This game repeats itself over and over again. Since the length of the sleeve 5 is such that the ring halves 23, z4. If you have contact over a certain length of the bell stroke, during which time the solenoid 39 does work, you have the power to give the bell i a long suit right from the start. The bell immediately receives such a vibration that the clapper swings against the bell with a powerful blow, making a clapper superfluous. It should also be noted that the sleeve 5 is set up so that it is adjustable in length for each bell. This prevents the bell from overshooting, in that when the bell is in a certain position, the solenoid loses its current in that the contact slides over onto the insulating sleeve 4.
23, 5, 24, 9, 7, Leitung 12, Schalter 18, Kontakt 13, Leitung 17, Solenoid 39, Leitung
i i i, z 12 erfolgt durch Solenoide 73, 74.
In order to be able to turn off the bell, which also happened quickly
must, since without a bobbin catcher the bobbin would cause discrepancies, it becomes
Contact 15 of the switch 18 is placed on contact 13. In this case it will
the current excitation of the solenoid 39 is interrupted when the bell rope 3 descends,
whereas the solenoid 39 is excited when the rope 3 goes up, its effect
but is prevented by the counter-pull of the pulley 29 and only for a short time
Hub takes place. Violent shocks do not occur because the wound on the pulley 29
Cable 3 as well as the belt tensioner built into motor 37 can give way a little.
The current flows in the present case, as can be seen from Fig.6 and i, in the following
Way. From the positive pole. the battery 22 the current goes to line 26, contacts
23, 5, 24, 9, 7, line 12, switch 18, contact 13, line 17, solenoid 39, line
28 back to power source 22. With heavy bells it may be necessary that the
Train must be carried out on both sides. In this case the arrangement according to Fig.
7 hit. The overall arrangement is the same as in Fig. I, only there are two
separate back gears with pulleys 68, 75 and pulleys 69, 76 are provided.
The motor 81 gives its power by means of pulleys 8o, 79 on pulleys 70, 78
from where the pulleys 68, 75 are driven. Tensioning the straps
i i i, z 12 takes place through solenoids 73, 74. While the solenoid 73 is now energized,
is the solenoid
74 de-energized and vice versa. Receives the pulley
68 a pulse, the segment 97 is pulled down while the segment
96 does not receive a suit. But as soon as the segment 96 swings down, the
Pulley 75 generates an impulse, while segment 97 swings upwards without counter-pull.
When ringing in, only the solenoid 73 may be energized by the switch 114, and
switch 114 must be switched off again immediately. The excitation of the solenoids
73, 74 takes place here directly from the motor current, and it corresponds to the current
the solenoids formed. The solenoids can be for direct, alternating or
Three-phase current can be constructed. While here the switches 115, 116 as individual switches
are specified, they can of course also be combined to form a switch.
B. Reibungskupplung us`v.It is of course not necessary to use a belt tensioning device to drive the pulleys, but other devices can be used which achieve the same purpose. Another example is given in Fig. 8. Here z. B. the solenoids IO6, 107 to operate a right and left friction clutch. The solenoids are excited in the same way as previously described. As soon as - now z. B. the solenoid io6 is excited, it pulls a lever 103 .an, and the friction clutch ioo is engaged, the pulley ioi is set in rotation, which is loosely attached to the shaft 115. At the moment of coupling the pulley ioi is firmly connected to the shaft 115 and it receives an impulse because the pulley io2 is continuously driven by the motor. When the bell swings back, the solenoid 107 is energized and the clutch 99 is engaged. Here, the pulley 98 is firmly coupled to the shaft 115 - and receives an impulse. Of course, the underlying idea can be carried out in various other ways; z. B. Instead of the belt tensioning device, the belt can be shifted by means of a belt fork and an empty and full pulley. Special care is also taken to ensure that the solenoids 106, 107 take up and release their magnetism as quickly as possible in order to switch the mechanism on and off as quickly as possible. For this purpose, either special coils are provided, or the winding of the solenoids is bifilar. The device is such that, as soon as the solenoid is energized, it switches on the mechanism to be actuated, so that a pulse is generated, or the solenoid can also work so that when it is energized it switches off the mechanism to be actuated. Instead of actuating the switch-on and switch-off mechanism electrically, this can also be done mechanically. Leverage done by z. B. the Riemenspannvorrichttmg is connected to a lever, which receives its corresponding switching movement from the pull cables. For this purpose z. B. a lever connected by means of friction with the pull cable, which receives its movement exactly as the contact 23, 24. This movement is then transmitted to the belt tensioning lever. Of course, this movement can also be transferred to another organ, e.g. B. Friction clutch us`v.
