Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for filtering around pollutant gases, especially flue gas with the Merk paint the preamble of claim 1.
Such a device is from the previously published DE-OS 34 43 832 known. With this known device Exhaust gases from brick factories in particular are to be cleaned.
This known device is only conditionally suitable for cleaning exhaust gases behind boiler systems or the like. It does not always meet the degree of purification for sulfur dioxide SO 2 according to the applicable regulations.
It is already known to use dust-like calcium hydroxide (Ca (OH) 2 ) in flue gas cleaning plants which work according to the dry additive method. In this process, the flue gases are cooled and moistened by spraying water. Calcium hydroxide (Ca (OH) 2 ) is then blown into a reactor to which the flue gas is also fed. A fabric filter is connected downstream of the reactor. A post-reaction takes place in the tissue filter. The achievable emission level is around 75%. However, it is disadvantageous that the construction of such cleaning systems is complex and therefore expensive. Furthermore, corrosion favored by moisture quickly leads to the destruction of such systems.
The calcium hydroxide (Ca (OH) 2 ), which can only be produced in dust form, cannot be used in the device described at the outset with a packed bed filter because the filter resistance would be too high and the dust particles would be blown off.
The invention is based, to be the task to improve the device so that the Efficiency is increased and the simple and inexpensive Structure is maintained.
Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe mit den Merkmalen des kennzeichnenden Teils des Anspruches 1.The invention solves this problem with the features of characterizing part of claim 1.
The invention offers the advantage that the degree of efficiency is improved by the use of granular filter material with an applied outer grain layer which absorbs pollutant components, without the filter resistance increasing. The filter effect, in particular the removal of sulfur dioxide (SO 2 ) and hydrocarbons, is significantly improved.
Further refinements of the invention result from the Subclaims.
The invention is described below with reference to a drawing illustrated embodiment explained in more detail.
The drawing shows a flow diagram of the device according to the Invention.
The contaminated, dry exhaust gases, for example from a combustion chamber 1 of a brick factory or a boiler system of a combined heat and power plant, flow via line 2 , optionally with the help of a fan 3, to a known bed layer filter 4 . The raw gas flows from below to a raw gas chamber 5 . This continues upwards into a double sliding grate 6 . Above this, the fill layer 7 is stored in a predetermined thickness. Filter material is fed via the feed shaft 8 . The distribution device 9 distributes the newly introduced filter material evenly at the top of the fill layer 7 . The filter material flowing through from below is continuously or intermittently conveyed downwards on the underside, where it is contaminated to a greater extent, by actuating the double sliding grate 6 . It falls on an endless conveyor 10 , which discharges the contaminated filter material to be removed via line 11 . The movement of the filter material in the fill layer 7 takes place in the opposite direction to the exhaust gas. The clean gas collects above the fill layer 7 in the clean gas space 12 . From this it is blown off via line 13 , optionally by an intermediate fan 14 via chimney 15 . The packed bed filter 4 is assigned a lockable by-pass line.
Vorzugsweise beträgt die Korngröße 2 bis 10 mm.The filter material used in the fill layer 7 has a granular shape. The grain size is preferably 2 to 10 mm.
To increase the removal of sulfur dioxide SO 2 , limestone grit CaCO 3 is preferably used as the grain core. This is preferably provided with a thin outer layer of calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 .
Expediently, the contaminated granular filter material discharged from the packed bed filter 4 is regenerated with the sulfur-binding outer layer and recycled into the feed shaft 8 of the packed bed filter 4 .
As can be seen from the drawing, the contaminated filter material is fed to a cleaning device 16 . This cleaning device has a peeling device 17 , preferably formed by a rotating, lying drum, to which the filter material to be cleaned is fed. The drum contains, for example, peeling bodies made of steel or the like.
The drum has perforated areas over which peeled off Material and grain size below a certain size material is carried out.
Air is introduced via the inlet 18 into the cleaning device 16 in the direction indicated by the arrow and in countercurrent to the movement of the filter material and, if appropriate, is sucked off via the line 19 by a ventilator (not shown). The dust-like components are separated in a fabric filter 20 so that only cleaned air flows out into the open. The separated dust is removed via a cell lock 21 in a sediment trough 22 . This can be disposed of in a landfill.
The cleaned filter material emerging from the cleaning device 16 is preferably wetted with water H 2 O and fed to a coating device 23 . In this be there is a lying rotating drum. From a pre-storage container 24 , dust-like calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 is fed to the coating device 16 via a metering device 25 . This calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 is deposited in layers on the cleaned filter grains. The regenerated filter material prepared in this way is returned via line 26 to the feed shaft 8 of the packed bed filter 4 .
From a reservoir 30 , filter material can be fed through a dosing device 31 via line 32 to the regeneration circuit, so that losses of filter material can be compensated for.
The sequence of operations in this entire cleaning system is preferred by a control device, not shown controlled automatically.
The filter material need not have a limestone core. For example, it could also be a whole grain of calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 .
The layer thickness is to be determined for the respective cleaning purpose fit. It could also be that parts of the core remain free.
It would also be conceivable to apply a reagent to the core, so that part of the outer layer of the core forms calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 . Grain made of calcium carbonate CaCO3 can also be treated with hydrogen peroxide H 2 O 2 . Such a grain would then absorb sulfur dioxide SO 2 particularly well.
The layer of calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 or other layers can also be applied by spraying. The core of the filter grain can also consist of activated carbon, or the outer layer can consist of activated carbon.
Materials such as granular rock, Diatomaceous earth, synthetic resin granules, activated carbon or the like are used will.
It is also advantageous to overlay the outer layer with the core to bond an adhesive more strongly.
At the same time, the outer layer, for example of calcium hydroxide Ca (OH) 2 , can be made dust-free by adding a binder.
Two or more coating devices 23 operating in parallel could also be used. Predetermined proportions of the supplied, cleaned filter grain quantity could then be provided with different coating material. The material coming out of both coating devices 23 would result in a filter material mixture.
