Zwischen den beiden Dichtungen 11 und 12 auf der Welle 5 befindet sich eine Öffnung 13, sie dient zur Kontrolle der Dichtigkeit und kann auch als Zufuhr von Schmiermitteln für die Dichtungen benutzt werden. Je stärker die Kraft der Feder 18 ist, um so größer muß der Druck der zugemischten Flüssigkeit sein und um so besser ist die Verteilung der zugemischten Flüssigkeit in der Hauptflüssigkeit.
