Halte wirkung hat und andererseits ausreichend weich ist, daß es als Kissenfüllmaterial verwendet werden kann. Durch das Einbringen des Füllmaterials in einzelnen Hüllen in die Ausnehmung 2 ist es auch möglich, beispielsweise die Füllung der Seitenarme der Ausnehmung 2 für die Ohrauflage weicher zu gestalten als den senkrecht dazu verlaufenden Mittelsteg. Der Formkern 1 ist von einem dicken, weichen Polstermantel 3 mit beispielsweise Schafschurwolle umgeben, wobei der Formkern 1 selbst von einem Vlies umschlossen sein kann, auf dessen Außenseite der Polstermantel angebracht ist. Der gesamte Aufbau ist von der Hülle 4 umgeben, die senkrecht zu den Auflageflächen angeordnete Seitenteile 5 aufweist, so daß sich eine Form des Kissens ergibt, dessen Höhe in dividuell angepaßt werden kann. Fig. 6 zeigt in einer perspektivischen Ansicht schematisch eine nach der Erfindung ausgebildete Matratze, bei der ebenfalls ein Formkern 1 mit einer Ausnehmung 2 vorgesehen ist, in der ein gegenüber dem Formkern 1 mit Stütz elastizität weicheres, progressiv elastisches Füllmaterial angeordnet ist. In der Seitenlage kann der Schulter- und Beckenbereich in die weicher gefüllte Ausnehmung einge drückt werden, während in der Rückenlage der Körper durch den steiferen Formkern 1, der einen Rahmen um das Liege zentrum in Form der Ausnehmung 2 bildet, abgestützt wird. Durch die sich in Richtung der Körperlängsachse erstreckende Ausnehmung 2 in dem Formkern 1, der im wesentlichen die Außenabmessungen einer Matratze haben kann, ergibt sich gegenüber den bekannten Verstärkungen von Matratzen eine Verstärkung längs der Körperachse durch die langgestreckten Seitenteile des Formkerns 1. Hinsichtlich Stützfunktion und weichem Abfangen ist bei der Matratze die Funktion ent gegengesetzt zu der bei den zuvor beschriebenen Kissenformen, weil beim Kissen in der Seitenlage eine Abstützung des Kopfes erfolgt, während bei der Matratze diese Abstützung in der Rückenlage des Körpers erfolgt.
