Trichterförmiger Asche- und Schlackenfänger für Herde und Öfen. Asche-
und Schlackenfänger in Trichterform, die, vor der Feuertür eines Ofens oder Herdes
angebracht, aus der Feuerung beim Offnen der Tür herausfallende glühende Teile auffangen
sollen, sind bekannt. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf derartige Vorrichtungen und
besteht darin, daß in einen Asche-und Schlackenfänger ein Sieb eingebaut ist, das
mit Hilfe eines Hebels derart bewegt werden kann., daß es im geschlossenen Zustand
die groben Teile festhält und sie beim Offnen in den Aschenkasten fallen läßt. Die
aus der Feuerung herausfallenden Teile gelangen zunächst auf das Sieb, das die feine
Asche durchfallen läßt. Grobe Teile und! unverbrannte Kohle bleiben. auf dem Sieb
liegen. Letztere kann herausgelesen und der Feuerung wieder zugeführt werden; gröbere
Schlackenteile werden dann durch Offnen des Siebes in denAschenkasten ausgeschüttet.
Zum Offnen und Schließen des Siebes dient .ein am Aschefänger gelagerter, von außen

Der Asche- und Schlackenfänger wird durch einen aus dem vorderen Blech
b und den Seitenblechen c zusammengesetzten Trichter mit oberem Rahmen a gebildet.
Durch eine Schraube, die seinen Rückenteil e durchdringt, wird er am Herd befestigt.
Die dem Herd zugekehrte Fläche des Trichters wird durch ein Sieb f gebildet, das
durch die Gelenkbänder g mit dem Rückenteil e verbunden ist. Am unteren Teil des
Siebes f greift ein Hebel h an, der an der Vorderseite des Trichters in einem Bügel
