Es ist bei mit elektrischer Widerstandserhitzung· arbeitenden Nietenwärmern bekannt, die Elektroden durch Zuleitung von Flüssigkeit zu kühlen. Der Gegenstand der Erfindung unterscbeidet sich hiervon dadurch, daß die Elektrodenkühliung als Verdampfungskühlung ausgebildet ist. Es wird dadurch nicht nur die Kühlung· vereinfacht, sondern es wird gleichzeitig auch erreicht, daß die Arbeitsstelle des Nietenwärmers beliebig verändert werden kann, ohne durch: Kühlleitungen daran, behindert zu sein.
