Gemäß vorliegender Erfindung gelangt man in einfacher Weise zum Ziele dadurch, daß man Überzüge von Kunstharzen herstellt, wie sie z. B. aus Formaldehyd mit Phenolen oder sonstigen zyklischen Verbindungen gewonnen werden, und diese Überzüge vor Einwirkung des Öles einige Zeit an der Luft stehen läßt. Die Harze gehen dann, sei es durch Polymerisation oder Oxydation, in eine unlösliche Modifikation über, welche dauernd der Einwirkung des Öles widersteht, mögen nun Mineralöle oder fette Öle verwandt sein.Process of making concrete, cement, mortar and similar substances oil-tight.
