Verfahren zur Herstellung von Absätzen für Schuhwerk aus Korkabfällen,
Kunstkork u. dgl.Process for the production of heels for footwear from cork waste,
Artificial cork and the like
Addendum to Patent 347224. The present invention relates to a
further implementation of the process for the production of heels for footwear according to
Patent 347224, to the paragraph in its production at the same time with a whole
or partially made of rubber tread. This becomes the invention
achieved in that a rubber piece forming the tread in semi-vulcanized
Condition in .the form is inserted, whereupon the cork mixture to the rubber in the
Formed and the whole thing in the locked form of the one described in the main patent
Post-treatment is suspended. During the pressing, the rubber is strongly compressed,
so that in the boundary layer between cork mass and rubber there is an intimate contact between the two
entry. At the same time, the semi-vulcanized rubber is
which he has to go through together with the cork mass, vulcanized so that he
also firmly bonds with the cork mixture. The strength of this connection
can be increased by the fact that the rubber piece inserted into the mold is in
as is known, on the side that comes into contact with the cork, with one
Raw rubber solution is coated.
schwalbenschwanzartigen Ansatz fest umklammert.
The semi-vulcanized rubber piece inserted into the mold can be designed in this way
be that it forms the whole tread or a corner of the same. Particularly
however, it proves to be expedient for the implementation of the process to be a ring-like,
rubber piece a corresponding to the outline of the paragraph (see Fig. i and 2), in which .die
Inner surface b is inclined slightly inward. The filled cork mass is pushed
then when pressing into the free interior of the rubber ring, so much so that
that a dovetail-shaped edge c is formed from cork. This will turn
during this period of time the rubber -through the cork so strongly against the outside
pressed the shape that it is strongly compressed. The consequence of this is that the
Rubber ring, when it comes out of shape with the heel, contracts and so the
dovetail-like approach firmly clasped. On the other hand, the cork looks like something
protrudes from the rubber, it also prevents slipping in wet weather,
while with the previously common leather heels with rubber, the leather only works when it is wet
slides quite well, as this leather is usually taken from quite inferior neck leather
will.
