Abstract

The pallet with longitudinal channels (41) forming front openings for lifting forks and side openings (42) is made from two interfitting sections (2,3) made from corrugated cardboard. The upper section (3) has a flat top and two vertical longitudinal flanges (31) which fit between vertical flanges on the outside of the lower section (2). This incorporates the two longitudinal channels (41) which are open downwards. The lower section has two side channels (21) and a middle channel (22) open at the tube, forming the two main channels (41) between them. The upper section has a pattern of rectangular openings through its top surface, which include tongues (32) which are bent downwards to fit between the sides of the channels (21,22).
